Hotel Tateshina (Shinjuku) Reviews

This hotel has bed bugs and I have big bites all over me. They didn\'t even offer me a refund or price reduction. They wouldn\'t even admit that it came from their hotel, when it was the only possibility. I was very disappointed, better to stay somewhere else.

I can recommend Hotel Tateshina. It is withing walking distance from Shinjuku station, and from there you can get anywhere. The rooms are small, but everything is clean and friendly. It\'s really a good value for the money and I\'d stay there again.

Rooms are not large and sometimes smell of tobacco. However staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and even speak some English. Beds are reasonable, bathrooms cozy. Cheap, convenient, and only a 1000 yen taxi ride from Shinjuku station.

Best location for the price. Had a triple room with 3 separate comfortable beds. Bathroom was small, but that is normal for Japan. Wifi connection was fast and reliable. Staff was very friendly.

They stored two suitcases for a week although they hadn't much space and we were not coming back to stay there again. That solved us a lot of problems and we are very thankful. We will recomend Tateshima to friends and will stay there again if we are coming back.

Fantastic location, very close to Shinjuku station. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Excellent value for money! I will definitely be back.

Such a relief to come to this nice place to rest after staying in hostels! The staff were excellent, helpful and spoke English which was a relief when my Japanese failed me.

Great location within shinjuku, which makes it a pleasure to move around Tokyo via the fantastic sub way and train station. The staff are keen and helpful, with a good grasp of English which helps a lot for novice travelers! The only negative of my room was that it had a distinct cigarette smell which I could not remove. Highly recommended overall though.
