The staff was very friendly, every question i had about how to get a cab or a city bus was answer with a smile and kindness.Just one little thing that for me didn't matter much, bring your own HOT WATER.

It won\'t win on charm, but if you\'re looking for a cheap place to stay, $25.00 for a private room with bath, in the heart of Boca Grande just minutes from the beach, Hotel Toledo is a winner. Just don\'t expect a hot shower.

The hotel had no record of me paying a % of the cost online and they had screwed up my reservations and refused to fix it. I had to fight with them for an hour before they agreed to give me the price they had listed online, which they tried to raise in person. The room was disgusting. It had a cockroache infestation. The air conditioner leaked fluid on the bed and the bunkbed broke in the night ontop of the person sleeping on the bottom.

Would not recommend! Showers didnt work, rooms were boiling hot, toilet didnt flush, have to supply your own toilet paper. Security very poor, staff speak very little english. Has a pool but most of the time there were cigarette butts floating in it. However, good places to eat nearby. And there is a casino down the road which is fun. About a 10 minute taxi into the old town.

The staff were very friendly. I will not recommend the breakfast in the hotel itself, but the food at Harveys on the terrace was great. The pizza man makes a fine pizza at night. Toledo offers WI Fi but be prepared... No WiFi in the rooms so need to go out into the hot lobby. Stayed there 10 days which 5 of them I did not have WIFi not even in the lobby, and this over Christmas : ( Aircon works well in rooms but cold at night and they had no blankets, just sheets.
