the staff was friendly, but not very well organized and as professional as I'd expected by viewing the price. the room was really really small wich I wouldn't have minded if there had at least been a small cabinet or anything like that.. the shower boundary was broken, but all in all it was always clean.
Location was decent, staff were friendly but didn't speak much English. Facilities very basic. Ok but probably wouldn't stay here again.
this hostel was in a good location, but that's about it. If your a young backpacker, definitely don't stay here! Our room was on the top floor, no elevator! No kitchen or safes. Staff provided no information about the city. Room was not very clean!
It was a very basic hotel. Rooms are small, but has all you need. Funny story -the first night we were put in a room with no light in the bathroom; as a solution we were given a candle. Things to note: rooms over 4 floors with no elevator; staff do not speak any English; hotel is located on a major street and generally felt very safe, but surrounding shops/bars to some may seem abit dodgy.

The hotel is really close to the Vieux Port and the Gare St. Charles, but in a busy and not pleasant street. Our room was quite small and the shower not particularly cleaned. The combination of very thin walls and noisy neighbors did not allow us to sleep well at night. The price seems reasonable for what we actually got in this hotel. It was overall ok as a hotel, given that we stayed in our room just for showers and to sleep.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and couldn't have been nicer. The only downside was the very weird mattress that you sank into and that was at a serious tilting angle so you ended up slipping down it. Also the room wasn't designed for tall people - at 5ft10 my feet were hanging off the end of the bed and I only just managed to get the shower above my head. The bath screen was cracked and needed replacing, but otherwise the room was nice.
The Hotel is in a convenient location for visiting Marseille being only 10 minutes from the Vieux Port. The hotel itself is ok, the rooms are a good size but the ours could have done with some doing up, for example the one cupboard door didn't work and the other was missing. They supplied plenty of blankets which came in handy when it was cold and the receptionist was pleasant and helpful.
