DO NOT GO HERE! Woodlands Inn can only be described as HORRIFIC. The hotel is located down a back alley in the middle of deserted streets. All around the hotel is waste, foul odours, and scurrying rats. I received a sexually suggestive intercom phone call off an anonymous male, and was told by the eerie male on reception he did not know who made the call. I was so terrified (as a lone female traveller) and appalled that I ran out of the hotel, scissors in hand. Horrible, horrible place.

For travellers not interested in the clubbing scene, this place is great. The rooms are a good size and reasonably clean, the location is quiet and close to Central Pier. Silom Road and its markets are a short taxi ride away.
