The place is ok, good value for money and location. Don´t expect to have a peacefull experience, cause as we imagine -like many spots in India- all the people surrounding are going to try to take your money out, asking for non-certified massages, indian house experience, marihuana, etc. Also the manager of the hotel gave us some ¨complementary¨ meal and then made us to write in tripadvisor -with a guy supervising- a good review of the place. Don´t accept anything, everything could be tricky.

Beautiful garden, good location, cool and laidback staff! One of the nicest hotels we had in India. Only bad thing was a lot of mosquitoes in the room.

First of all, the staff of this hotel is very welcoming and this is the most important thing to us. They show us what are the highlight in the city around a cup of tea. We never feel any kind of pressure to do anything, they just want to help us to have a nice stay in this small city. The room is clean, there is hot water 24 hours. The food is excellent, cheap and there is a good variety of meals, from Pizza and pasta to traditional Indian food. In fact, we only have nice thing to say about i

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Zen, where the garden provided a quiet sanctuary away from the constant hassle on the streets of Khajuraho. There is a risk of spoiling this through pressure to review on Trip Advisor. A shame and unnecessary and we would stay there again.

This hotel has a great atmosphere with its comfy zen garden and nice rooms but it was completely let down by a bunch of members of staff all calling themselves "manager" who quoted me different prices for a rickshaw driver for the day. What's worse, I gave money to the staff to book a train (+ extra charge) which they repeatedly failed to do so until I had already left Khajuraho. I ended up stranded because they just gambled the waiting list. They never found a way to return my money to me. Scam
