Fernando is a really friendly owner who always made time to speak to the guests. He also made Friday and Saturday 'Happy Hour' all day!!
Cozy place, great staff, offer activities while you're there, clean room & towels! Kitchen isn't fully equipped.
Good hostel in a really good location. However, we had a private room (room #1) which is practically in the same room as the front lobby/reception area. Their is a window which allows the room to look over the reception so the noise that incomes through the room makes you feel like you're in the same room as everyone who enters the door. We stayed 1 night so it wasn't a big deal, but definitely request a room away from the reception.
Berakah greeted us warmly and provided us with all the information we needed to orient ourselves in Copan Ruins. Fernando was a friendly host, who eagerly conversed with us and made sure our stay was enjoyable and comfortable. He runs his hostal with grace and hard work. He gave us many recommendations and suggestions, and introduced us to friends and locals. The hostal was clean, comfortable and relaxed, which perfectly matched the atmosphere of the town.
Staff and other travellers were awesome. Very easy to meet people, great location, staff organizes nights out and gives good advice. Easy to get around town and generally a really pleasant stay.
This hostel is great, and the people there are awesome! If I go back to Copan it will be to visit Berakah again.

Fernando and Munchi are the coolest guys ever and really care about the safety of the guests. copan is a great place to stay and this hostel is the perfect place to enjoy it at!
Friendly staff that makes you feel immediately comfortable. The rooms are well equipped and there is a great rooftop terrace with TV and kitchen. Nice restaurants nearby as well. The location couldn't be better. Just turn the corner nearest to the hostel and walk, and you can't fail to arrive at the ruins and amazing museum of Copan.
