A good budget hotel/hostel to stay in for a few days to explore Venice. The rooms are clean and fairly spacious, I stayed in both a double and a quad and both were good, although the bathroom is small and there is only one mirror which made getting ready a bit difficult. The location is good, close to a bus stop, however getting there at night from the train station isnt great as you have to use a very sketchy underpass. The only negative besides that were the beds, very uncomfortable.

we were given what appeared to be a dorm room.. it was horrible and smelled really bad.. the toilet didnt flush well. I found a large bug and went straight to the front desk I was told we would loose our money if we left but then she offered us another room in the new building which she was kind enough to talke me over to look at.. it was much cleaner and smelt alot better.. the area itself is not nice but easy to get to Venice from by one bus. the staff were great the room key fit other rooms.

The hotel is situated in a wonderful place, bus stop is just in front of the hotel, the railway station is at about 3-4minutes by walk. There is a big traffic square near it and it's quite noisy. There was so much noise, that I didn't catch a sleep all night.

Pros: Great location - very easy for travel by train or bus. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable beds. Nice neighborhood - take some time to explore! Very inexpensive. Cons: Shower was a little grotty. Shower water was not hot enough the first night I stayed, although it was the second.

dorm-room was a lot different than the rooms on the pictures... pretty small and totally minimal - only the bathroom was okay. but if you're not staying long, it'll go.. the distance to venice is great: busstations near or in front of the hostel, it takes you 10/15 minutes to go to piazzale roma.

Close to the train station and bus stop to Venezia, friendly and helpful staff. Not very clean, no kitchen facilities, only basic furniture (uncomfortable bunk bed + metal cabinet).

This hotel has a great location. It's just 5 minutes from the train station using the underpass under the tracks and it's a short bus ride to the island. The building is nice, pretty clean, and they have cheap breakfasts and dinners on offer. They also have a ping-pong table, which was fun. I would recommend it for sure.

It\'s cheap - yes, but the bathroom was very dirty, the plug ins were\'t suitable for charging even a mobile phone. Except beds, nothing else to put your luggage. I do not recommend it.

Thank you very much the suggestion and recommendation on the sights and good restaurant as well as other must-visit places in croatia. You are really helpful and I really like to stay at your hostel.

Stayed for two nights. After first night I returned in the evening and didn't find my things that I'd left in the room. Later I found my slippers and shorts in dirty wardrobe in the corridor. Seems room service just threw my things away. Fortunatelly I locked backpack in locker before leave. When I complained to the receptionist about that, he did nothing. Next day another girl apologised and suggested free breakfast for me. However it's good value for price. Just keep an eye on your things.

Perfectly cheap and best price hostel with an very good location to get to Venice (Bus infront of the hostel for 1,30 8min) and everything you need is to find in Mestre.

It was a good experience being in this hostel. The staff was very friendly and spoke Turkish, English and Italian. They kindly changed my room when I claimed that it smells damp and it is cold. They also let me leave just after 2 p.m. in check out day and did not charged that day. I had forgotten the time of check out. There was just a few problems: The plugs in the room was not suitible for my electronic devices and the water was not warm enough for taking a shower. There was no lift.

The manager/owner is REALLY IMPOLITE! Stay there just if you really need, otherwise you'd better book somewhere else. The room was a bit dirty because they never clean under the beds. The girl at the reception is not helpful at all.

If you like taking cold showers and sleeping in a bed crawling with ants, this is the place to go. That said, it does have a convenient location, right next to the bus stop to take you into Venice proper.

Me and my girlfriend had a pleasent stay at Hotel Colombo. It's quite close to the train station, and even closer to the bus station (take bus 6 or 6/ if you want to go to Venice). For bus tickets I recommend buying 1 card per person. I don't recommend using 1 card for more than 1 person because it's somehow complicated to activate. One thing we didn't like was that we had to leave our key at the reception each time we left the building. Also there's a supermarket nearby.

This is not really a hostel but rather a budget hotel, so if you are after a hostel vibe and/or travelling alone, I wouldn't recommend it. That said, we were very comfortable here and as a budget hotel it's excellent value for money. The location is perfect for access to bus and train connection in Mestre, but I arrived alone late at night and didn't enjoy the underpass tunnel (under the railway tracks) in order to reach the hostel arriving on the FlyBus from the airport.

For the price it is good. Bus stop is right outside costing only 1.30 each way and takes 15 minutes to the city. Also bus stop right outside for Marco Polo airport. Lady at the desk (I think her name is Selma) is super friendly and nice. Dorm room was very clean!! Only bad part is it is not 24 hours reception which I thought it was - which meant I had to wait 1 hour outside early in the morning before it opened at 7 AM.

The hotel was just what I needed for my stay outside venice. The staff were delightful and helpful and I couldn't have been more pleased with their service. My only suggestion is that towels be easily available for rental at the reception.
