Hotel de Verdun Reviews

Centrally located but was a little disappointed when I saw the actual room as compared to the pictures on the website. Not really an issue to me and there's a little balcony for us to chill and people watch. Was well received by one of the staff but didn't like the rest of the staff because they were a little condescending to Asians like us.

The initial room we were given was very dark ,had no bathroom door and a toilet that didn't work. After a discussion with the hotel staff we were allowed to change rooms which ,despite having a shared toilet, was much cleaner. We were asked to flush the toilet ny putting our hands inside the lid which I did not feel was acceptable when you are on holiday. When explaining this to the staff, they were very helpful and refunded us some money and offered a free breakfast for our stay.

In a great location. Not in the middle of everything but just about a block away from everything. Staff is more than welcoming and helpful.

Our first night was spent in a terrible room, it was obviously in the process of renovation. So much was wrong with it! We were woken at 8am with workmen drilling - doing up the the rooms next door. The next day we were able to move into a room that was perfectly adequate with a lovely bathroom. We were given free breakfast for make up for it. But the Hotel should not try and fit guests in around building work - such a shame. Use the hotel now it's renovations should be complete!

One of the best hotels/hostel I have stayed Excellent location for Nice. Clean. There was some misunderstanding over the room types but the staff was gracious about it. Very friendly staff.
