I did not expect much before arriving, but this was the worst hotel I have ever seen. Very dirty, stinky, smelly, with bad bugs as an "extra". I had some terrible bites during the last night. TV did not work at all and the tower-rail was broken. Noisy, but if you stay in an area with very lively night life, this is normal. Try to avoid this hotel, but not the area - that was nice with very good public transportation. Several museums, interest of tourists, nice bars, restaurants in a stone throw.

The location is great, very close to Bastille Metro. The staff was friendly despite their English being very limited. The room was fine, very sparsome, but that's what you can expect for 70EUR for an ensuite double room. Unfortunately I would not go back to this hotel again, since the mattress was infected with bedbugs. The first two nights we thought it was just mosquito bites, but it definitely wasnt. I've read this complaint in previously reviews, but they have not fixed it - what a shame !

It is an INCREDIBLE location, just steps from the Métro. Requested a room for two beds, but the key didn't fit in the lock of our room, so I told him about it and he gave us a new room, with 4 beds. Then, he asked if we could switch to a full bed to share, but since I paid for separate beds, he let us keep the 4. The next day we wanted to leave our bags there, but when we went downstairs, another group of people were doing the same thing and it was such a hassle that we carried our stuff all day

This hostel has bed bugs. We were not even able to sleep here because we found bugs in our beds. The staff blamed it on us Americans (we have lived in Europe for 1 month) and would not repay us for the laundry we had to do to rid our clothes of possible bugs. They were extremely rude. It is unclean and definitely not worth the money. Do not stay here.

Cheap, good location, and friendly staff, but unfortuantely the whole hotel seemed to smell of kitchen exhaust from the chineese restaurants down stairs and the room stank of cogarette smoke when we got there, and also I found my self having some insect bites on my back, after a couple of day... certainly not mosquitoes in winter...! :-/ bed bucks. (room 501) But other than that quite ok. Paris was wonderful! ENJOY!

it's very close to the metro station bastille and there are many shops, bars, restaurants and clubs around. our double bed room was really small, no place for clothes. the bath in the bathroom didn't have any curtains, so you have to sit down. but it's ok for the money.

We had problem with the room at arrival. It was dirty, they didn't clean it. After we were complianing about it, and the answer was that the cleaner would do it as soon as possible. After 8 hours, nothing happened. It was a little bit more organized, but nothing. Finally, we got a cleaner (!) room. The receptionist was very nice. The location is perfect, but it was still a little bit dirty. Cleanliness is an vital thing, and not so difficult to pay attention on it.
