The hotel was absolutely ok and best value for this price! A metro station is around the corner and the location is nice because you are quite fast in Montmartre.

I didn't expect much from this hotel so it didn't disappoint. The room and hotel is very historic and old. I felt like I was living in the 1940s or something. It wasnt very clean but decent. There's a sink in the room and a big window. The bed cover was dirty but the sheets were clean. The only weird thing was that the toilet was on the same floor, down the hall. But the showers were on floor 1 and 2. There's only 1 on each floor too. Surprisingly, I never had to wait. There's an elevator.

There were mice in my room. EVERY SINGLE DAY. I should get my money back!!! Absolutely ridiculous and disgusting.

I was a nice place to stay for what we wanted to do. The roof leaked but it didn't bother us much. It's a good location too.

Hostel was fantastic. Just a 30 second walk around the corner from the 'Simplon' Metro station in the Montmartre district (Same line which the 'Gare du Nord' is on, pink/number 4). Very safe and very clean. Rooms are simple, with a communal shower and toilet on each floor, however for the price and the amount of time we were actually in our room, it was definitely worth the money. I would recommend this hostel and definitely go back myself.

Close to the metro we have a good supermarket, so it´s easy for shopping. We noticed it was a safe place. The chambermaid changed towels but has never cleaned the bedrooms. The owner has given us explanations as we requested but I need to say that it´s a very difficult hotel to sleep due to the very old wood floor and old doors that must be repaired. It´s just someone walk on the floor above yours that you easily wake up. The heating also didn´t work.

Good: near Sacre coeur, there's supermarket at the corner, metro station is 50m away Bad: Far from anything, except the Sacre coeur. Staff is horrible, cannot speak English. Maids are rude. Internet does not work in the room if you are 3rd floor or above. Carpet in the rooms, who uses carpet these days. Only 2 showers in the entire hotel. No Kitchen. No Common room. Dirty smelly rooms.

Don't stay at this place. Its in a terrible area and the rooms look NOTHING like the pictures online. There was a mouse in my room and the first room I looked at smelled like urine. Please save your time and money and stay elsewhere.

Great location and good value for money. If you are looking somewhere that is cheap, relatively central and near the metro, this is an ideal hostel.

it's good to live in such an ancient building in Paris! if the electric heater worked more efficient would be much better! Sometimes it's freezing cold at mid night!

Worst hostal i've been, just 3 showers in 1 and 2 floor. Smell too bad, no daylight, rooms are not like the photos showed, no breakfast no kitchen no nothing. The only good thing is the little restaurant "Simplon Pizza" across the street, big, nice, cheap food with very nice staff.

Very good localisation. Very good choice for such a price!

It's basically a good choice for those needing only a sleeping place. If you don't plan to spend a lot of time in the hotel, you can't beet the location for the price this hotel provides.

Great location right next to the metro stop. Beds were really comfy- we had a 4 person room that had 2 double beds in. Could be a problem if you don't like the people you're travelling with as it means sharing but we didn't mind. Just used this place as a base for sleeping and it was perfect.

Room was dirty, toilet hadn't been cleaned and there was a strange smell, carpet had probably never been cleaned. Other than that: ok. Very cold but there was a heater we could use. Two windows, enough space for the two of us, we had a shower and toilet in the room. Close to metro, grocery store, boulangerie. Stayed 5 nights. Would stay there again if I'm on a budget, but not sure I would recommend it to friends...
