hotel moon is a cheap hostel/hotel in the heart of brussels. the location is what fills it, there are few other assetts. breakfast could be improved enormously by simply providing decent bread instead of sliced stuff and by providing boiled eggs.

Staying in Hotel The Moon was the worst experience! The room is extremely tiny without elevator. The worst thing was the staff cheated. He charged me room rate including deposit even I told him I had paid 10% deposit when booking. Even after I showed the evidence that I had paid the deposit before he refused to return money back to me immediately! He had to returned money after I was very angry and insisted. But i couldn't catch my International train because of the time wasting!!!

Great location and very clean. This is not a hostel but a good budget hotel. Very close to the central station as well as the grand square.

Friendly and helpful staff, good location and small local hotel. We do not like large chain hotels.

Rooms are basic but clean, staff were really friendly. The breakfast was alright. It's a good, easy base from which to explore Brussels - if I need a hotel again in the city I'll come back.

Really great location, ALOT of stairs and there is no lift but you get that in Brussels. The reception guy at night was super unfriendly and unhelpful. But the room was clean and comfortable. Definitely over priced for what you get but there is free wifi.
