Small, cramped, not well cleaned or ventilated. The staff were surly and didn't know much.

Good location for catching the local bus system in Liberia. Other than that, there is not much to this place. Also my reservation through Hostelworld never made it to the Hotel Guancaste, therefore I had to pay more and my deposit did not go towards the room.

when I arrivved the room was filthy and I had to leave my back pack in the office while they cleaned. the food was not as good as in town. hardly anyone spoke English so it was hard getting around. the price is cheap but it would be worth it to pay more to stay somewhere else or not be Liberia altogether
