We had a great stay at Hotel Hotel Hostel. It's located in Fremont, which is an awesome neighborhood, but it takes a bus ride to get to downtown. Otherwise really friendly staff, and it generally felt safe and secure.

A great place to stay; so clean and secure!! Would recommend it to anyone who was wanting to get around Seattle - there was a bus stop basically at your front door!!

as said before, bathrooms are great though showers do get crowded. met a great mix of people (foreigners and fellow US travelers) in the surprisingly small living room area. good location in a artsy corner of seattle with lots of cool shops and statues in walking distance. free breakfast is typical but hey free. i would definetly stay again

Great location in Fremont. Short 10-min bus ride to downtown. Everything in the hostel was safe and clean. We stayed in a private room, which was very modern and comfortable. You'll get some noise from the street, but we had ear plugs and they had a box fan in the room to help kill some of the noise.

The hostel was nice but the staff were very unhelpful compared to other hostels we've stayed at. Parking is an issue in the area, but the host wasn't able to give us information on the best place to park/rates/possible free parking. Also, as soon as you walk in, you are bombarded with their rules and regulations. I definitely felt as though I was walking into a detention center. They didn't offer a map of the city or things to check out as you're checking in. We felt very much on our own.

Not enough showers for in the morning, I always had to wait. Otherwise a really good hostel. Location was in a cool part of town. Somewhere I probably wouldn't have discovered had I stayed in downtown instead.

-Excellent neighborhood. -Sometimes the bathrooms are full. -The size of kitchen is too small, also the common spaces, specially for breakfast. -Maybe would good have a light in each bed.

A great hostel, with very friendly and helpful staff -- including one of the owners, who generously gave us a lift to the pier to meet our cruise ship when we were leaving. Thanks again for that! The hostel's only downside was a shortage of bathrooms -- there was often a bit of a wait in the morning. Otherwise, though, a really really great hostel, and I'd happily stay there again.

This is the best hostel I've ever stayed. Everything was perfect. The staffs were friendly and kind. It will be my priority choice for my next trip in Seattle.

I have no complaints for Hotel Hotel Hostel, one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in and definitely the best bathroom I have ever used...probably EVER! Luke at the front desk was especially kind and when I met the owner it was obvious that he really cares about the guest's needs. It may seem like the neighborhood is to far away from the center but don't be fooled. Fremont is a really cool neighborhood with a lot of shopping, restaurants and partying. It's very easy to get around Seattle.

I was all set to give this hostel an excellent review, had it not been for an incident with one member of staff accusing another guest of lying. Super awkward and uncomfortable, the staff member treated him like scum, based on a mistake his own colleague had made. The situation was incredibly poorly handled and made it absolutely crystal clear that this particular staff member did not respect guests. So, so poorly handled, and in front of another guest, who is now writing this review? Awful.

A great location (though easy to walk past without seeing!) in one of the coolest neighborhoods in Seattle. 2 blocks to the Freemont Sunday Market, tons of restaurants and pubs around. Only disadvantage is that it's not close to downtown - but the busses do run regularly. Great character, comfy beds. We had a great chat with the owner over breakfast.

Bathrooms are brand new and very clean. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Location is convenient by bus from downtown. Breakfast is good. Kitchen is very organized and clean. We love the quietness and had an enjoyable stay. It would be nice if individual light is installed by the bed for reading and early packing. Definitely would love to return and recommend to others.

This is a superb hotel in a great location. I loved the neighborhood of Fremont, and the hostel had a welcoming atmosphere and great facilities. The bathrooms are amazing and the complimentary continental breakfast was also appreciated.
