This is a casino hotel not a hostel but it was perfect if you want a huge bed, cable tv and hot showers. And it was cheaper than most hostels. Would stay again as most hostels we found were pretty average in San Jose

Great price but it is in the city center where honestly there is nothing to see. The hotel also smelled very badly of smoke. Staff however was very friendly and helpful. Love the "Ticos". It is however a Casino but nothing fancy.
