We've had room by the reception, neither receptionist, nor the owner (I guess?) who came in the morning didn't care about 8 people sleeping, or trying to sleep behind the wall - they were laughing, yelling to each other, while they were in different rooms - we were woken up after 10 hours of travel and couldn't rest before next 12. Don't recommend :(

Poorly furnished and uncomfortable rooms, no hot water at the taps, no internet connection, poor breakfast, not enough bathrooms.

Helpful staff, clean rooms, but you needed 2Euro to store your items in a locker. Great location to old town and a quick walk from the train.

This hostel is worth the money if you're looking for a cheap place to stay in Fussen for a few nights. It is close to the train station and the bus station which charters rides to the castles. This hostel is also close to the old part of Fussen. We stayed here for four nights and had a wonderful time walking to the old part of Fussen and checking out the restaurants and shops. The town is charming and most tourists miss it by just seeing the castles.

No locks on outside or for rooms. Do have lockers, but anyone could walk in to the building. I know Fuessen is safe, but still...

The staff was not very helpful. The even could not speak German! and their English was very bad... The breakfast was too expensive, as you just become an apple and a tee.

Super friendly staff, very clean space, neat old building with skeleton-type keys that come with it. Great location for exploring the beautiful surrounding areas: Tirol, Bavaria, Reutte, the castles, etc.

We came to Fussen with the intentions of seeing the Neuschwanstein Castle and spending sometime in the area. This hostel is a short walk from the city center where there are tourist information points and nice places to eat. It took around 30-40 minutes to hike up to the castle from the hostel through the snow, and the route was easy to find/follow. I would recommend this as the perfect base for exploring Fussen.

Had a great time in Fussen, the town was amazing all covered in snow. Hostel is close to town and the railway station. facilities are clean and comfortable but no kitchen which was a bit of a bummer as we found it hard to find cheap restaurants in the touristy town.

Great place, very friendly staff and great location in an awesome town. The only complaint is not being allowed to use the kitchen, "staff only", which was strange but they did let us borrow dishes.

it's more like a guest house than a hostel. very warm and comfortable atmosphere. it is worth staying here. be careful about the security because the door is not locked. you can use a small locker.

Good: Friendly and helpful staff, good location with street signs to help you find it, clean. Not so good: Internet only worked in the common room.

The hostel is small but cozy. The staff us exceptionally nice and helpful. Except they don't have lockers in the room, nothing else to be criticised.
