The place was cute, cozy, and very home-y.

The place was cute and charming. A great little place in the mountains. The staff is kind and helpful. If you are looking for 5 star, don't come here; but if you are looking for a great location, great people, and a cozy place to stay while visiting the castles, I highly recommend House L.A.

I arrived at Fuessen very late, but the guy is still waiting. The two guys in the hostel make me feel safe. The building is old and a bit cold at night. The place is near the station but as a new comer a bit hard to find out. Anyway, It's a good place to explore the castles of the King Ludwig II.

friendly receptionists, they are very helpful. Wifi-internet is available and very conveinient. good location, about 8 mins walk from Fussen train station. Fussen is quite small, it takes only 5 mins to walk to the town center. good value for money. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the swan castle.

Clean, tidy, friendly, would definately reccomend as a cheap and comfortable stay in Fussen. Breakfast was only 2.50 E! Ample parking, helpful staff :)

The location was great, just a few minute walk from the center. The staff wasn't very knowledgeable on things to see/do or places to eat in Fussen, just about how to get to the castles. There were also only 3 showers in the entire house making it challenge to get ready in the morning. There wasn't a locked luggage storage, but they did offer lockers for smaller objects.

not enough toilet, esp in the morning, apart from this, it was a nice place to stay

there isnt really a reception nobody was there i had to ring them and wait for a few hours the staff wasnt helpful at all the only good thing was that it was clean and he location but fussen in really small so the location couldnt be so bad..but not much hostel options in fusse

On the website on Hostelworld.com, it said that breakfast was included but then when we got there, it wasn't included.

Was just okay. No common room to hang out with people, no lockers in the room, just little ones outside the room to rent, breakfast was not included and what you pay for was not great. Staff didn't go out of their way by any means. Would probably try to find a different place to stay in future...

Thumbs up for House L.A! It was a very comfortable stay in a great location with terrific staff who maintained the place to an excellent standard. There was plenty of info of things to do and there was no trouble finding out about them with help from the staff. Wicked place, would definitely recommend it :)

People usually come from Munich to a day trip to Fussen to visit the Royal Castles. Few of them think about spend a night in Fussen. We have to spend a night in Fussen acidentally and we had a very wonderful time at this small and so lovely hostel. We loved so much that we decided to extend our stay. The guys from the reception are very kind and so do the owner. What a big surprise! I highly recommend this cosy place to stay in Fussen instead another night in Munich.

It's a short walk into town. Normally not an issue, but we visited in November, and it was quite chilly, so unpleasant getting there and back again. Room was good (though, again, not as warm as we would have liked), host made every effort towards our comfort, free wifi worked well. If staying in Fussen again I might select something closer to town, but the price was right for this quick trip.

excellent hostel. The staff were very friendly and happy to answer our questions. Most importantly, the toilet was fabulous. It was spacious and clean.

When we stayed there we were the only ones. No staff to greeet us or show us to a room. We had to do everythign ourselves. That night the power was off and we had to contact someone to come fix it. We were annoyed about the lack of help available and had no info about how/when to visit the castle and so we missed out on seeing it. Rather disappointing. Nice and clean. No kitchen facilties or common room. Im sure if the staff were there it would have made our stay much better.

very clean and nice hostel to stay at. the staff was great! he helped us with everything we needed. really helpful and ready to serve. toilets and showers were always clean. parking was right infront of the building, which was great. we had fun time there, thanks!

The hostel was great. The bed was the most comfortable bed out of any of the hostels we stayed in. The owner was also very friendly. Everything was clean, and it was quiet. It was a little disorganized- the staff member working didnt know which room we were staying in. But he put us on the phone with the owner and we got it sorted quickly. I would definitely stay here again.

Best hostel we've stayed at in a month. The doors are loud at night but really roomy rooms 5 bed mixed. Washer actually costs 7 euro and is on site though. Try the Bavarian beer they offer at the hostel for 1 euro

This is an amazing hostel, it felt like you were staying in someone's house near the "foothills" of the Bavarian Alps, plus you can see the Neuschwanstein Castle from your bedroom window! The place was clean, the wifi worked, and even though they didn't let you use the kitchen they did sell a breakfast for 2.50 euros (if you can manage to get up between 7:30 and 9 am) Plus you can rent a bike for 8 euros and get a discount to the castles. I would definitely stay again if I ever go back to Fussen

Nice hostel, close to the train station and cozy environment. Filled in a form and got a guest card that can get reduced price to the Neuschwanstein castle at 8 Euro.
