The buildings themselves seemed brand new and with a log cabin influence. You can hear and see new construction all over out there but it didn't take away from the beauty of the area. If you have a car the location is great with just a mere 8k between you and the lakes. The staff was really nice and breakfast was amazing! Didn't see a common room but we weren't at the hostel for long anyway.

House Tina is about a 10 minute drive from Entrance 1, Plitvic Lakes, so a good location. It's really easy to find. The lady owner was there to greet us with a warm welcome. We stayed in one of the outside cabins which was perfect for us. We were very pleansantly surprised by the breakfast and the wonderful modern decor.

We can't rate because we didn't see the room... The staff made a mistake about our reservation, and the room was given to another person! But hopefully, they were nice: they found us another room at their neighboor's, plus they offered us free breakfast the day after (which was by the way excellent) !
