You will be staying in a nice typical Amsterdam area, away from tourists, but close to the heart of the city center.
The houseboat is located on a street where there is a real village atmosphere. Everybody helps each other out and all with the Amsterdam attitude of live and let live.
At the end of the street you will find a very nice beach bar which is open 7 days a week for tasty typical Dutch bitter-balls, beers and bevarages.
All in walking distance are the following places:
- City Sky Bar
- The famous flea market 'Waterlooplein'
- The Red Light District
- Various Museums
- One of the oldest squares in the city the Nieuwmarkt where you can eat the best 'Cheese Fondue' ever at Cafe Bern
While you stay at the houseboat, I like you to experience the real Dutch way of life, so I am happy to advice you on special places to go.
