we only stayed there for 2 nights in four persons dorm, but the staff was really nice and did'nt tried to sell their tours insted of useful information witch is good value. We went to Yangshou from Guilin and we could leave our bagpacks there for 3 days :) top. + it's right across the train station. they serve good food.

Very average hostel. Nothing jumped out as amazingly special, but nothing was bad either. Large communal area with tv, pool and computers. Rooms are clean and location is good next to the train station. Staff are friendly and helpful. The general property could be a bit cleaner and luggage storage is not watched, so not very secure.

I really liked the place and the friendly staff, but didn\'t like that they had shared bathrooms and showers.

Location is great opp train station, but rooms lack character. General hang out area is nice enough and staff friendly. Free laundry is handy- clothes dry on big balcony area (under cover). Rooms and hallways smell a bit and storage rooms (linen) are very grotty. Still, knowing this, would stay again bcoz of great location.

The external appearance of the hostel is old. But it is clean and comfortable internally.

The hostel is easy to find and not far from the center, the bus or train station. Very good breakfast, with good coffee! The staff was very helpful and can speak English. All in all we had 3 good nights there.

It was fine here... location in the centre of city and near the railway station is great... but i can say that it wasn´t so simple to find it in the second floor... even for a local taxi driver... :-)

Great place, very close to the train station, "downtown" in walkable distance. Nice staff, pool and nintendo wii/dvd in the common area.

This hostel is great! Very simple, but cheap and a great location. They help you find your way around the city and have things to do at the hostel as well. I'd stay here again if I went back to Guilin.

This Hostel is great! Very clean, nice rooms with heaters/aircon, hot showers, a really nice atmosphere - everything one is looking for in a good hostel. And the staff were super friendly and helpful! They all spoke excellent English, which is not always the case in China and it will make your life so much easier! The location is also superb, very central and you can´t get any closer to the train station. A word of warning though on the directions: there are two "Home Inn" Hotels in Guilin.

First we booked only 2 nights, just in case we wouldn't like the place, but we loved it and extended or stay for 2 more nights. Location is really convenient and calm, everything is really clean, beds are comfortable and even in winter you can warm the room with the AC. The only thing would be to improve the standard on the bathrooms. Staff is great !

Very convenient location if you arrive or leave by train, the station is just across the street. One of the nicest staff I´ve found in China, they all speak good english and are very helpful, well-informed. I stayed at a twin ensuit room. It was freezing cold, but clean, spacious. Even tough I live in China and traveled around the country, it was a surprise do not find ocidental bathrooms. The room has an autentical chinese bathroom, with those floor toilet and no shower curtains.

Spent three nights here in December. The room was great, and the staff was excellent. Jessica helped us plan portions of our trip in Guilin and moving on to Yangshuo. The internet worked well and everything was clean. We took advantage of the free bikes, they were in pretty rough shape but we we rode them for 12 or so kilometers and had a great time. It\'s out of the way from central Guilin but it\'s short walk and we enjoyed it. I\'d absolutely stay here again. My Lonely Planet said it was looking \

The staff was very friendly for us and I must say that the rates are very good in comparance with the service and the hostel itself. Just normal rooms (with heaters) and good showers. The service from the staff was excellent. They can give good advise for you trips and help you find your way in Guilin & Yangshou!
