The only reason you might stay there if you have an early morning train to catch but not even then. The little dodgy things that put me off. SA 10% service charge at their bar on everything. What for?! The guy opens a bottle of beer (85 baht+sc), same with the coffee, also 93 baht. More expensive than in Sydney. No wonder no one hangs out at the hostel. No atmosphere. At least they emptied the ashtray, but not. They charge you to store your bag there for few hours, not in a nice place either
I had a dormitory room with shared bathroom. I don't mind sharing bathrooms, but I don't think men and women should be able to meet inside the faculties when there are showers and toilets together--for privacy and protection of intimacy. In addition, there was no hook inside the shower to hang clothes or towel to for after the shower. Although there is a rack. It's positioning is far too high for someone who is short as myself--5 ft. Tall/ 155 cm.

Great location for the railway station and not far from china town. Lovely cafe selling quality food. Reception staff most helpful. Very clean. Highly recommended.
it is just outside Hua Lamphong MRT exit and you can use the MRT exits to go to the Hua Lamphong Railway Station. it is also near Chinatown.
I stayed here two nights before getting on an overnight train. Great location next to train station. Quite quiet but this was nice. Good food down in the cafe and friendly staff.
good location at subway station

Perfect place if you are catching a long distance train as it is directly opposite the station. Most people are in transit here so there isn't much of an atmosphere. I think it is an old hotel converted into a hostel so it is quite grand and very clean. Bathrooms are great and the rooms are nice enough, wifi is good too. Wouldn't stay here if you want to see Bangkok and party but would definitely stay again if I was in Bangkok for a night waiting for a train.
Great Location - very short walk to train station. Facilities simple and clean. Great value.
The hostel is a great choice if you only spend a few days in bangkok. It is easy to reach from the airport with heavy backpacks with the metro and is right across the street from the train station, where most trains leave (to ayutthaya, to poipet / cambodian border). Also the cool roofbars (e.g. sirocco ) are only a short and cheap taxi ride away. The dorm was very clean, the bathroom was daily cleaned and the beds were made every day! The food was also really good and the whole place felt cozy
Stayed in this hostel 3 years ago and it looks like the rooms have not been cleaned since then! Everything is rather dirty and looks very used and badly maintained. Stayed in two different rooms, the double room had a window that did not close properly, inviting a swarm of mosquitos at night and the single room had an ac that, when activated, distributed a unpleasant cigarette smell in the room which stay for the entire night. Lastly, this is the first hostel to charge for bag storage!
Perfect for a quiet night in Bangkok. Unbelievable value for money
We paid extra for a nice place to stay for our first night after a long flight to Thailand and arrived to find cockroaches EVERYWHERE! Asked to move room but instead the lady on reception sent a man to kill them, who then proceeded to pretend to squash them all. Do not stay here, pay a couple of quid for somewhere cheap- will probably be better than here.
Only stayed one night but was very pleased. Right next to the railway station so if your catching a train in the morning it's perfect.
This hostel is very convenient to the Hua Lamphong Train Station. We were able to check in very early in the morning which was wonderful. The food in the restaurant is good. The rooms are basic but clean. Air con good, hot shower good, elevator slow but great to have. Wifi not good in my room, but great in restaurant. Would recommend when traveling by train.
