Nice hostel, but our room had bugs (ants I think) in it, which crawled around the beds, rooms and bathroom. The staff is nice, but not very helpful about the matter with the bugs. They just pushed them off the matresses and that was it.

Very convenient, 50 metres away from the train station, 100 metres to the night market, and 5 minutes on feet to the beach. Rooms are good, just a little bit uncomfortable with the bathroom but the overall is fine. The cat is lovely. Hasta la vista

Very dark and no atmosphere at all for travellers, out of date. Could of been made a lot cleaner, bathroom floor always wet from the dripping appliances. Very loud during mornings! Also have to put your own bed linen on at arrival, first time i have ever done that!

This place was fine. But the shower is very cold, and it can be very difficult trying to communicate in English with the front desk. More trouble than its worth. Not recommended.

This place is mixed bag, you have some great things (location, reasonably priced laundry service, beers for sale at ok pricing) and bad things (bathrooms aren't cleaned daily, staff don't speak perfect English, poor atmosphere to meet other backpackers). All in all I've had a decent stay, though not sure if id return.

The dorms are very poor and old - wanted to stay 3 nights, but left the hotel after one night in another category- staff is not very flexible and helpful!

Admittedly I'm getting a bit old for hostels and I was ill on New Years but after being moved rooms and not told why I found I was in the furthest possible room away with the back door permenently open, birds sitting outside the window making noise plus more importantly right above a kareoke bar ! Also had 3 people check in at 4am when there were only 2 beds left , although did have air con just don't expect to be able to get any sleep there

I really liked they gave me plenty of bottle of water, it was very nice though of them. The room was not very clean, I wasn't sure if they clean daily, but it was acceptable for this price.

nice staff and very clean. like!
