Nothing was too much trouble for owner/manager Lisa, who collected us from the station and made us very welcome. The room was spacious, immaculate, well equipped and very comfortable. I would definitely return here and recommend this accommodation highly.

Lisa is very nice and recommends good trips for us (the Taroko trip and dolphin-watching trip), all at a reasonable price! The bed was very comfy, the room was clean, and it was just 10 minutes walk from Hualien station! Breakfast stalls and fruit markets were around, so we were always fed with nice local food. We definitely enjoyed the stay there - and will recommend our friends to go to Hualien 11!

the tour is also good value for money, esp. having Ms. Chen as our guide

Our host, Lisa is very heartwarming and provide excellent service to us. We like how the room was decorated, very princess feel. My sisters love it. For the bathroom, we thought that perhaps a shower curtain can be place there so there won't be splashes all over the floor. Would definitely come back again.

Hualien 11 is well worth staying at. It is situated close to the train station as well as the night market. The owner will go out of her way to accomodate you and help make the most of your stay in Hualien! We had a great time!

The beds were the most comfortable I've slept on in Taiwan! Lisa was very hospitable and gave us lots of ideas on where to eat and what to do. The rooms have character. I'd recommend it to others who are going that direction.

The bed, pillows and comforter in the room are simply awesome, like that of a hotel! The room is spacious. And most importantly, the host Lisa is very friendly and approachable. I would recommend Hualien 11 to budget travellers. It is clean and not like a hostel at all. I had an enjoyable time just chatting with Lisa and family at night after we are back. The driver that she arranged for us to take us out on tours is also nice. It is convenient that there is free pick up fr hualien station.

Really, an excellent place to stay. I booked a room for my parents and I -- two awesome beds with the softest of mattresses and great pillows. Lisa was a real gem, welcoming us at the door and even giving us her parking space for the night. A/C in the room with a wide selection of channels on the TV. We had a car, but I'd imagine it's not too long of a walk from the train station. Either way, you'll want to rent bikes, scooters or a car anyway, if you're coming to Hualien.

The owner Lisa is great! The day before we check-in, we dropped by to say HI and Lisa invited us to eat with her, cooking us a lot of food and even offered us a taste of local wine! Her rooms beats all the good hotels i've ever stayed in! Every room has a wonderful theme and nicely decorated down to the last fine details such as stickers. She provides amenities like in hotels (i.e. disposable toothbrush/shavers/shower caps/shower gels/shampoos...etc) You'll leave with positive memories.

Lisa was the best hostess I have ever met. She is so responsible and warm-hearted, when we came to Hualien, she picked us up from the train station and ranged a perfect trip for us with a very fair price in the second day. Mr. Lee, a very professional tour guide and a driver himself, took us to the Taroke Canyon and the Chi Sing Tang Beach by the day, and when the night came, we went to a valley to fly lanterns and had a really good BBQ party. The room is clean, and the bed is amazing.

The price was great and the rooms were lovely, better than they look in the photos posted ! Also, it\'s within a short walking distance to eating places and laundry shops. Lisa is very helpful, cheerful and hospitable. The driver she recommended, Mr. Lee, is personable and very knowledgeable about every topic under the sun.

My mother and I stayed here during the Lantern Festival. The hostel owner was so sweet and caring, taking us to the foot of a mountain to send off lanterns and enjoying delicious barbeque by a local aboriginal chef. The next day, she also arranged a driver for us through Taroko Gorge for a great price, taking us to parts that we wouldn't have gone otherwise. But he only speaks Chinese -- which may be an issue for some visitors. Loved our stay so much!
