Overpriced. My dorm was quiet but it's more a party hostel, the only common area is the bar with lots of happy hours. My dorm was flooded and our stuff soaked (lockers under the beds) because the shower drain was plugged. No one seemed surprised or upset (not the first time ?). One shower for a 10-beds dorms. As a woman, don't expect friendliness from the staff. Don't book anything with them as they take a huge commission. Stupid voucher system for breakfast. Location OK but no cheap food around

Staff was cool. Location is good. That atmosphere was pretty cool. The place has a really nice big balcony to hang out on. The dorm rooms were really big and spacious with an outlet at each bed. Good spot overall. Not sure what my rating turned out to be but I'd give it a 90%

Frindly hostel, good location, good meeting place, good food if expensive compared to local places, beer not cheap either. Standard backpacker place, western feel. Nice balcony, good lockers under beds.

Hue backpackers is a place where you will definitely meet other travellers. They have an enclosed bar/pub on the first floor but no need to worry about sleeping: it closes at 11 p.m. so you will get some sleep. Staff is nice, they have maps prepared with the most important things on. Room had A/C and shower worked ok. No problems with mosquitoes or other animals.

Typical backpacker hostel with people getting drunk in the bar on the ground floor and cramped rooms with bunk beds. Nice decks on the second and third floors that are quieter. Good location.

Party hostel, so some may find it hard to get to sleep before the bar shuts at 11pm. Nevertheless a great place to stay, convenient location and pretty good staff.

Great party hostel, definitely make sure you're in the mood for it and this place will be great. Rooms are small but lockers under bunk beds mean you can fit your bag in there. plus own reading light and plug etc. Value for money definitely, bathrooms cleanish and sparse but also fine for the price. Staff are fun and you can book your ongoing travel from here too.

Really enjoyed my stay here, the hostel was in a good location and it had a good atmosphere. Close to plenty of bars for drinking after the happy hour. Also booked a DMZ which if you are in to Vietnamese modern history is worth doing. Happy medium between partying and resting

A good hostel in a city with not much to do. Good beer and free breakfast. The location was quite good, and some of the open tour bus companies drop you off right in front of the hostel.

A great place to meet other backpackers. A bustling bar at the hostel but it closes down around 11 PM so no problem sleeping. The hostel offers great trips/tours. And a nice terrace in front of the rooms!

Early in the morning, water started dripping down from the ceiling on my bed. Several people got electrecuted in the bathroom. The breakfast is ok, nothing special. The staff is friendly and helpful. On the other side of the street there is a noisy construction site. Also, the owner is an older Australian man who apparently only hires young Asian women for his party-hostel. Not really the spirit I personally appreciate.
