Great hostel. The dorms are good and the beds are comfy. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Wifi is good and works in the dorms. Try to get a dorm on the top floor as there is more breeze on the deck up there. The free breakfast is good. Also their fruit salad and yogurt for 50K is excellent and refreshing. It's about a 15min walk to the train or a 30-40K taxi. Ask the girls about a local resturant that has a 90K set menu with five different dishes it was aswesome and its about 5mins walk.
Great hostel. It's in a good location, the dorms and toilets/showers were cleaned regularly! The staff were extremely friendly. They place made my stay in Hue!
Staff can give you all the facts and info, but missed a bit of the extra thinking along you come across in some other hostels.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great atmosphere and close to lots of good food.
Very social place and easy to meet people - especially with their great happy hour deals! The balconies make for awesome hangout places both in the day and night time. Though the staff is a lot less friendly and helpful than the Hanoi branch. The bathrooms are the size of tiny closests and a bit rundown. Best place to stay as a solo traveller in Hue
This was a very nice hostel. Great atmosphere extremely friendly staff always willing to help. Nice little bar area with good breakfasts.
Not overly impressed the locker designated to my bed could be opened by pushing the door in, the lock would unlock. The staff are more interested in you if you are a bloke or want to spend all your money there. Internet didn't work in our room cause we were too far from the first floor but the music was awful and too loud to stay down there for long. The staff also used the computers constantly so limited access for guests. They have free water which is very good though :)
Great place to stay. The staff are lovely and very helpful.
Nice place! The dorms are really good. It doesn't feel like you are in big dorms with many people.
The staff recommended us booking a half day tour when we where leaving to Hoi An by bus at 1.00pm. We were not very convinced because in the program we could see that it was finishing around 12.30-13.00 pm but they repeatedly told us that we should go, that we were going to be back at 11.45. We ended up coming at 13.05 pm and directly going to a 4 and 1/2 hours bus trip without any chance of going to the toilet or having lunch.
Staff not really helpful. The manager on duty was not smiling and not really helpful. Stayed on 8/7-9
Really enjoyed my stay here. Would definitely recommend it! It's a very social hostel so it's easy to meet people (which is great when you're travelling alone). Staff were amazing
Nice staff, good location, excellent atmosphere !!! Love it!!!!
A great hostel in a central location. The bar/ restaurant area is really good as they serve all sorts of food, do a happy hour on cocktails in the evenings and it's a really good area to meet people. If you want to rent a moped get one from outside though as the hostel is expensive for this. Would stay here again.
The bar area is very sociable and there are nice communal areas on each floor where you can sit and chill. The dorms were basic but clean and the staff were really helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The location is great but Hue itself is quite spread out, so be prepared for a fair bit of walking and hiring a bike or jumping a taxi is necessary if you want to visit the beach. The hostel is a great place though, I would highly recommend it.
Nice bar. The food is decent. tour was good. rooms were a bit cramped but not too bad. Hard to sleep if the bar is open. Decent sized en-suite bathroom. Beds were ok. They had double-bed bunk beds which was pretty neat. The one night I stayed in a larger dorm with more beds the bathroom and shower were separate which was nicee.
Best pillow going, super big and fluffy. A really social and friendly place with great staff, great bar and food, definitely a party hostel!
Nice place to stay in Hue, but a little bit too expensive for a dorm.
Can fill up pretty fast in the summer, booking is advised.
Very tightly run hostel with good secure space for storing luggage and belongings and comfortable beds in quiet dorms. Tour desk gives rip off prices and the one shower per dorm can lead to morning logjams, but these are minor quibbles. Definitely the most social place in Hue, but certainly not a party hostel on the level of their branches in Hanoi (bar shuts down at 11 which is good for ensuring adequate sleep. Well worth a stay for a solo traveller.
