Hunny Hostel Jakarta Reviews

I stayed there one night in dorm. They have excellent service at reception. Hostel is new, so furniture and everything is new. Hot water shower, even surprisingly coffee, tea, jam and toast bread were for free 24 hours, not only breakfast. Will stay there again for sure. It\'s near Harmoni and Gambir, so convenient for those, who travel by land out of Jakarta

Location isnt that great, and the atmosphere isnt all that either... Maybe some extra couches + fans in the living area? But very clean and great dorms + bathrooms

I loved staying at Hunny Hostel! The staff were fantastic, so kind and very helpful when I came to them for advice about what to do in Jakarta and how to get around. Hunny is set up in such a way that it makes it very easy to meet people, and I've made friends there who I will continue to keep in touch with after the holiday. They have a great system for buying food and toiletries from them in the kitchen, and I appreciated the free water and coffee. Had a very good time overall.

Hunny Hostel was great! Only thing is that it is a bit difficult to find. But just call the hostel and they will tell your driver where to go. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay. I was only there for one night and had to leave really early and the staff woke me up and even helped me get a cab. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Dorm room is quite spacious. It's pretty quiet when I went there. There's only one computer for everyone's use but they have wifi. You have to pay for breakfast, it's very cheap no worries. If you want to go around the city, the staff can recommend a motorbike driver for you (though you won't be wearing a helmet. The driver cannot speak much English but he could understand)

One of the best hostels, I ever have been in my RTW-trip, and I was in many hostels. The atmosphere is so familiär, that I stayed more days than I had planed.

Amazing, almost pefrect hostel in right european style. Comfortable beds, big rooms, great location, loads of facilities, super clean, friendly staff, perfect price. No complaints at all.

Enjoyed my 5 night stay here in comfortable 6 bed dorm with on suite bathroom. Friendly staff and helpful manager who will assist in directions and knowledge about Jakarta. Introduced me to other travellers who were attending Jazz Festival so we could share taxi. No complaints.

I nice, quiet and perfectly clean hostel. The staff was extraordinarily helpful, thanks to them I got to Bandung more or less for free! Check out the Hunny hostel in Bandung, too. If you like the one in Jakarta you'll like this one,too. The facilities are good (heaps of DVD's), the location all right. It's a bit of a walk to get somewhere but there's not much to see and do in Jakarta anyway...

The hostel was comfortable to stay in and reasonably centrally located. Charging 1500 rupiah for a slice of bread is a bit of a joke though.

The staff is really kind, and the place is a clean, quiet and cool haven in Jakarta.

Good location and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The common area is great and so are the kitchen facilities. The map I got at check in was so helpful, detailed where all the best sights/pubs/restaurants are. Free wifi and big dorms with lockers.

It's a clean and quiet hostel, not many travellers around. When we stayed there were 3 other people. One of the staff members talks good englisch, the others only a few words. A nice place, but changed location not long ago, so it's not very known through taxidrivers.
