A YHA situated in the heart of wine country in the beautiful Hunter Valley.
The hostel is set on 26 acres in a rural setting with vineyards, and offers a range of accommodation including dorms, doubles and ensuite rooms.
Facilities include: a large kitchen, dining and lounge area, recreation room, swimming pool, sauna, wood fired pizza oven, and bbqs, volleyball and boules court, internet, laundry.
Wine tours also depart from the YHA, leaving at 11am and returning at approximately 5pm. Enquire at reception on arrival or contact us.

No reviews? OK, I'll bite. This is a lovely property in a very pretty region. Vineyard next door, rabbits hopping about every evening, that sort of thing. Very relaxing. Highly recommended. If you're a backpacker, its tough as you'll either need a car or to pay for a tour to access wineries. Worth considering though to break up the endless sun/sea/sand of the east coast. Come here instead of Newcastle (everyone says it's boring) then go on to Port Stephens. Look into a short car hire maybe.
