This hostel is 100% out of 100%! Its very bright, the design is very beautiful, even the toilets & showers :) The staff members that I've met - Ethem, Sotiris & Firat - are super helpful & nice.. The terraces are amazing, & the breakfast is the best one i've had in hostels in Istanbul! (i've been to a few). You only enter the building & the rooms with a keycard, & it's located on a very lively street, so it's safe.. It's very clean & everything is comfortable.. I'd definitely stay there again!

I was pleasantly surprised how helpful and friendly the staff were. They speak great English which is a bonus. The standard double room itself was spacious enough and has a modern, clean bathroom...we felt more than comfortable staying here. Many thanks. I will recommend others to stay here. Just be wary of the district on a Friday or Saturday night...its right in the heart of it all....but you should be likely to want to be involved with it all anyway while you stay....so enjoy!

This place is really hard to find. But it does exist, no matter what anyone (local people) tell you. It's just hidden.

This is my second time staying here. Staff were great as always, and the hostel was very clean. The location above the bars is really pretty noisy though, the only real drawback.

We rented a private room with bathroom and loved it. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hostel was clean and comfortable. Most of all we loved the location- Kadikoy itself is great and it's only a quick ferry ride (cheap and very frequent crossings) to the European side of the city. I highly recommend the hostel and would definitely stay there again myself. And the proximity to the fantastic restaurant Ciya was a bonus too!

Hush Moda is in a wonderful area, the market on the street below the hostel is wonderful and vibrant and there was always so much to see. It was nice to be outside the main tourist strip and great taking a ferry each morning to different places. Only a few doors up is a bar with folk music playing and the people were so friendly. We had a private room ensuite and it was as good as any hotel I've stayed in. Breakfast on the roof garden with the best tomatoes I've ever tasted!

Very cool hostel in an amazing neighborhood! It's just a beautiful ferryride away from all the sights on the european side. The staff was really helpful, the rooms were spacious and clean & we would DEFINITELY recommend staying here!

One of the best hostels we have stayed in. I have never seen a cleaner place and the staff were very friendly and helpful. You could not find a better place to stay in Istanbul. We will be returning next week.

Very clean and friendly hostel. Right in the middle of Kadikoy which is awesome, just don't hope for an early night. It's overlooks a busy bar/restaurant street. The door is a little hard to spot but just keep your eyes open for the sign. One toilet for an entire floor of dorms which I imagine might not work out if the hostel was full during high season. Staff were very nice and accommodating, even granted me a late checkout. I'd stay again.

Good for Asian side of Istanbul but main sights are on the European side, as are some of the more useful transport links. Staff knowledge was quite limited and one seemed shocked that we were considering leaving Istanbul and didn't know where one of the main archeological sites was. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Lively location. Reasonable breakfast. No kitchen but not expected. No communal area.

The hostel is very nice! We had a very comfortable stay! Extremely clean. Super friendly and helpful staff. The beds are great and the neighborhood is very cool. If you have little time in Istanbul it may be annoying to have to cross the river with the ferry or the vans (both 2 blocks away from the hostel) every day, but we stayed 5 days and we loved crossing it every single day. Bad thing is they dont have a kitchen and the common place was not so great (no Tv or pc and bad wifi connection).

I stayed at both the "Hush Hostel Moda" and the "Hush Hostel Lounge". The Moda place changed me over to the "Lounge" because they were booked out. The "Moda" is located in the most busy, noisy and full on streets in Kadikoy, where all the bars and restaurants are. WAY too noisy for me. The "Lounge" is located about 10 mins walk away - very quiet, better social area, much much better. (and a bit cheaper too)

The hostel is good, the staff is friendly, the value for money is pretty good, the only issue is with the room 101, the one where I stayed during my holiday in Istanbul. That room shouldn't host anyone, it is too close with the reception (neighboring with it), and it is definitely too noisy. I gave a low "atmosphere" rating just to reflect this noise issue I experienced. Despite that, Hush Hostel Moda is a hostel I'd recommend, but not the room 101 obviously.

Maybe the cleanest hostel we've ever been. Nice furniture and decoration. Staff spoke good english and was very helpful to give us directions in the most interesting area of Kadikoy. The location was perfect, in the middle of moda restaurant, bar, market & small shop area. Having explored most of the main central areas of Istanbul, Kadikoy and HushModa are the places to return to! Otso & Petra, finland
