The dorms are a bit basic and the the beds too close together but the guesthouse in general is not without charm and it's in a decent area of town, away from the main backpacker street but still close to plently of eateries and shops in this heritage-heavy food town.

The dorm rooms were a bit tight on space and luxury but the rest of the guesthouse was not without charm. Decent location and good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.

Convenient location 7 minutes by walk from Komtar bus stations, a few minutes from china town. Has his own small garden. Quite tranquil. Highly helpful staff that provided me with a lot of useful information. Simple breakfest is included. Parking, wifi, hot shower.

Basic Hostel that could do better but has all you need for a short stay. Stayed 4 nights and they didn't replace sheet on my bed once. Like alot of Hostels/ Hotels in asia they get to a stage of laziness and just do they same routine every day. Replacing carpet in rooms would be good, Flowers in lobby would be nice or incents. I also didn't see anybody cleaning while I was there. accept for Jeremy who does the breakfast of toast and coffee plus juice. Mosquito's in bathroom were annoying.

Room 105 is a single private ensuite with a huge bathroom. But unfortunately, it had open air windows, which probably led to the entrance of some mosquitoes. Woke up with a few painful bites on face and arm, which suggest that they were probably not of a species familiar to me. Other than that, there was air con, staff was friendly, and the location allowed to me to walk everywhere in Georgetown. Lastly, it is just blocks away from the famous Line Clear for nasi lemak!!
