Somebody stole my phone, and it's was in the third bunk, so it's not secure at all. If you can don't go there, you can choose many other around the area.

The dorm that was given to us did not have electricity and heating was off. I hated the atmosphere there, it felt like I stayed in an old soviet hospital.

The place is filthy beyond all expectations, there were two robberies during my stay, the staff is not interested in helping, one night a group he started smoking in the room ... never again And I often slept in train stations and airports, so I'm not fussy ...

DONT GO THERE! I ve been in many hostels, but the ones in london of that particular street are terrible! if you dont mind sleeping with homeless guys and are not claustrophobic, then its valuable only for your money but for most of you you wont find a good sleep there. 18 in a tiny room with 3-level beds without windows, without lockers for your stuffs, and litterally homeless ppl 'living' here. if you re lucky u ll be able to find sth else.

The only thing good is the location and security. The staff is unpolite, they really don't clean the bathroons and they don't invest in the hostel! There is no air circulation. The internet is payed, so you should pay a lot of pounds for this! So, It was the woriest experience in one hostel for all my life!!!! And the mean word that defines that hostel is: DIRTY!

Booked the hostel for one night as I wanted a place to stay up for the night after the New Year's party. I was a bit alarmed with the reviews that were posted and have to admit that it isn't as bad as it sounds. Pros: Clean room, Comfy bed, Plug points in the room Cons: Noisy location, Limited toilet facilities

Really was a disappointment, a very simple breakfast, the internet needs to pay an amount in order to have a rotten bathroom, toilet broken, clogged, stinky duvet, terrible service at the reception, everyone was just another number, the receptionist or look in your eye to give the necessary attention, first and last time in Hyde Park Hostel

Here is a place you should go if you run out of money. We were 5 french guys, willing to visit London on this fresh occasion of St Sylverster. That youth hostel met our expectancies, as we could (over)sleep, take a shower, talk in rooms, watsh TV, cook, eat, poe or pee, whenever we wanted... No need to find a 5 stars hostel when you're only looking for a bed and decent bathroom fittings. Don't forget you earplugs if you don't want to be bothered during night by cheerful and alcoholic Poles ;)

Apart from the good location and the staff who was nice, this place is in such a bad state we were glad we only had two nights to spend there. Even though it's cheap, it certainly does not respond to the health and safety standards and we were shocked such a place would still be open in England.

Staff was very nice, but they had no shower towels available and we had to go buy one at a store the second day. Bathrooms were absolutely disgusting, always containing unflushed urine and excrement, as well as mess around its floor. The computer room looked great, except for the fact that it was closed down because it wasn't working and we had to go to another hostel next by every time we wanted to check my email.
