Excellent place, located in the heart of Kunming City. Apartment building is very modern and clean and easy to find. We (3 people) stayed in a big apartment with 4 rooms, big living room, kitchen. Rooms are very clean and have great view of the city. Very good value for money. Rick is very helpful and speaks fluent English. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice and friendly host

This is just the perfect place to stay in Kunming if you're travelling with two persons! Rooms are gerat and clean, there's a living room, good wi-fi, hot shower, good equipped kitchen. And Rick was very helpful, he's the perfect host :) He also stored our luggage for some days. Location's great, too, you can reach pretty much everything on foot. Our tipp: Go into the Muslim Street opposite of the entrance, there you can get great noodles and other street food.

The cleanest place we have ever stayed. Nice and quiet, but only a stones throw away from the bustling shops. Rick is so friendly and helpful, any questions we had about anything he was bursting with information. The facilities are great in the rooms and overall I would recommend staying here. Like a hotel, but much cheaper. :-D Louise and John - Ireland.

Rick is a helpfull and very friendly host ! He has THE concept for hostelling in Kunming, centrally located, comfortable place and for a reasonable price ! Great Value.

Very nice place that almost feels like staying at someone's flat rather than a hostel/hotel. Just be aware that "ensuite" doesn't necessarily mean you'll get a private bathroom - not every room has its own!

Liked it so well, we have contracted to stay another week...through January 21st. It is great location downtown, close to everything, the mall, the Italian restaurants, Papa Johns Pizza,McDonalds, and KFC. Also the Muslim or Ethnic Market is just across the street. Best market ever for sourveniers and Ethnic, colorful things for gifts.
