Overall had an awesome stay. Great location, friendly management, near many attractions, restaurants and shopping mall. Apartment was clean and well maintained. It's more a service apartment than a hostel though. (Depending what you are looking for, was great for me!) The only thing is that they do not provide airport shuttle service and should update their information on the hostels worldwide website. Would recommend it to a friend.

BE CAREFUL This man has a system: he makes overbooking, then sends some of the tourists to a second BAD LOCATION to fill up other appartments that he has. Additionally, it is very difficult to find his appartment and we waited 2 hours for him to show up. BE CAREFUL

We had a great stay at this location. Having never visited KM before, this apartment is centrally located right above a big mall and close to major bus lines. Rick, the manager, was very helpful with giving us directions to various places. Rick also speaks good English if you don't speak Chinese. There is one master bedroom and then another bedroom with two large beds in it that can accomodate 2 people per bed. It was nice to have a kitchen too so we didn't have to eat out every meal!

The room itself was lovely, the location was great, really central. The service from the staff was great, they really made it easy for us. We only had a brief stay, so we recieved some great advice on what to do and see. All in all we had a great time in Kunming, only wish that we could have stayed a little longer.
