This hostel was very clean and comfortable and stylish, and is in a great location. The staff designed us our own pub crawl with nothing but good recommendations. Also the free pancakes in the morning are a nice touch. Thanks, Rachael

We stayed for 2 nights and had an amazing time. The room was extremely clean, nice staff and great commons room. The hotel is located directly in Bucktown, bars clubs and shopping in front of the door and downtown just a couple of stations with the metro. We met a lot of cool people from all over the world at the hostel. Definitely again at my next stay in Chicago!

The area this hostel is in is very good. So close to transit, food and good bars. The tiny front desk girl was very nice and incredibly helpful to us and the group before us that I saw. The kitchen/common room is very accommodating and the guests used it a lot which I liked. I would definitely stay here again.

I like the hostel a lot, especially the atmoshpere, we had already a lot fun with the staff while checking in. :) Free parking is not common in big cities which helped to save some money. The beds were nearly to confortable for a hostel. The two minutes walk to the subway station makes it easy to reach every part of the town very quickly. Me and my friends enojoyed our stay a lot! Thanks, Gerhard

For us everything good about this hostel, which is actually quite a lot, was ruined by the noise in the evenings. The dorm rooms come straight off a communal area which remains open until quite late (that's if the staff enforce the hours). It was extremely noisy until the early hours. I've stayed in a lot of hostels and I'm used to sleeping through noise but this was unbearable. If you want to get any sleep this is not the place for you. Location, cleanliness, staff & security were greats

It was an awesome experience to be there at the hostel. It's a very nice place. The neighborhood is very cool too. People are very friendly, it seems they all want to have fun. I would recommend this place to young people who want to make friends. Also, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. I really liked the place, I would definitely go back there.

The hostel is located in what I consider to be the best neighbourhood in Chicago. All amenities, stores, cafes and restaurants are located within walking distance and everything else is easily accessible by transit located very conveniently right outside the hostel.

We stayed only one night, but I highly recommend this place. Helpful staff, nice location and Wicker Park is definitely the best neighborhood to stay!

I was satisfied with everything at HISP and enjoyed my trip there except for one thing. That was there were no plugs near around my bed. I used 10 females dorm, and my bed was #3. It's somewhat inconvenient to charge battery of cellphone or laptop. I hope you set up some equipment or plug around there.

I had a pretty good experience at this hostel. I stayed in the female dorm room which opens up right onto the common area and kitchen, so falling asleep before midnight was difficult because of noise. Also temperature in our room was a problem. The first night it was too cold, and then two following nights it was incredibly hot, to the point that I woke up sweating and couldn't fall back asleep. The bathroom situation is a little weird, but nothing I acclimate myself to.
