The hostel was great! The staff were really friendly and Wyatt took us on an awesome pub crawl where we could meet other hostel guests. They were really accommodating and helpful with everything we needed and the atmosphere of the place was generally just great. Kitchen facilities and bathrooms were both excellent. Location was great too. Loved our time here! Thanks Wyatt!

I was really impressed by the location! Now I even love wicker park more than Michigan ave! It's the best! The hostel itself is clean and friendly! Everything is so thoughtful and there is a Walgreens next to it. Best hostel I've ever seen! Def gonna go back

I left my adapter at the hostel (which is not their problem I know) but when I emailed them to see if they can help mail me back (which I promise I will pay them back), there was just NO REPLY! But overall it's a nice hostel. The location is fine.

Hi, Sorry, I am the manager at IHSP Chicago and I never saw or heard of anyone emailing about a lost adapter. If you still want it back, you can email us at info@ihspusa.com with a description of what it looks like and we can look for it!

This hostel was very great. We stayed in the private room which was only a few dollars more than the cost of 2 dorm beds. The room was very generous in size and clean. The kitchen and common area was awesome but closed at midnight. They could have done with a second toilet on the third floor. But, as a whole, it was an excellent hostel and a very enjoyable experience. The staff were extremely helpful and the location was second to none. If you are catching the train from the airport, so easy.

This hostel was one of the best I've ever stayed at (and I'm a frequent traveller). The location is awesome, with tons of restaurants and bars, and still close to downtown. The pancake breakfasts and free shuttle to the airport were added pluses. It was clean, the staff were friendly, and it felt safe. I would highly recommend this hostel!! Maureen

It was an amazing experience for us. The two staffs (a guy and a girl) were super nice and helpful. Free pancake in the morning and most important free parking. Definitely worth your money!!!!! Chi

This hostel provides the comfort of a hotel! The bed was comfortable--it was clean and warm inside. The staff was friendly too. Above all, the location is PERFECT--it is in the heart of Wicker Park and very close to the Blue Line.

Loved my stay at IHSP. Wicker Park is such a great place to stay. Wyatt took us on pub crawl which was great fun and went to some really great bars. Have noticed other people commented noise, which i didn't notice and my dorm was right off the kitchen. Defiantly stay here! Cheap eats go to Penny's Noodles just after the blue line entrance. Dine in and you will get enough food for 3 meals at $8. Super AMAZING brunch go to the Bongo Room. Can be an hour wait, but sooo worth it.

MY FAVORITE HOSTEL of the 20ish I've stayed at so far!! Staff: Cheerful, nice and always there to help. High five to the girl with short hair who was working during daytime, thank you so much for your kindness and your help! Character and atmosphere: Amazing! Always a lot of people, easy-going, nice living room and kitchen where guests do parties and bring food and beers Location: Wicker Park is my favorite area of Chicago, and the hostel was right in the center of it, 5 mins walk to CTA

The staff was very nice and showed us around. The common room and kitchen was good. The private rooms are in a different building, so you have to walk to the kitchen every morning but that's fine and not too far. The showers were good but our room as well. The room was just cold during the night. But overall you get a nice hostel in a cool neighborhood:)

Staying at this hostel was great! Compared to hostels in other parts of the world, the quality was especially good for the price I was paying. I stayed in the dorm style and the beds were nice and there was plenty of space. Overall, a good experience and very reccommended.

There is just one sink on the whole floor. We stayed in a private room and hadn't one in our room either. The showers are really tiny. You have to fight with the shower curtain. But the chill out area is good and the pancakes for breakfast are delicious. The hostel is next to Walgreens and to a train station.
