The hostel is alright, nothing to exciting going on there maybe just the breakfast pancakes. I would still recommend it

Pretty decent. Good value. Bit small and pokey living areas and kitchen, but they try to provide bit of entertainment for you. Having a room near reception was noisy at night though. Did feel like bit more of a shelter at times with SB locals staying there, as opposed to international travellers. Kevin on reception was real cool and friendly. Free pancakes for breaky were yum!!

Just stayed one night at the hostel whilst road tripping the West coast. It served its purpose and the cheapest option in town, had parking and the pancake breakfast a nice touch. Cosy hostel in a former home. I would suggest that hand soap be provided in communal bathrooms by all hostels.

The hostel is pretty close to the beach and the state street (which is the main shopping street) isn't too far as well. I liked the familiar atmosphere with nice people and really enjoyed my stay!

The hostel is full of young people. Next to it there is a small super market and a mc donalds but to go downtown it is like 30 minutes and even more to go to the beach. The rooms and common areas are very small.

it's a bit in an interestingarea but hreat location to the bars. Staff were aw4some and very helpful

Sorry, but it was the worst hostel that I have staied. Dirty, just one shower for all the guests, because the other one was broken. Not 24 hrs reception. Not free towels. And the price completly do not worth it.

I was extremely upset to show-up at theHostel on only to be told that as I am not a student nor an international traveler, could not stay there.no where on the booking page did (or email originally sent to me ) did it say that these were a requirement to stay . Needless to say, we could not (were not allowed to stay). Be very careful when you use HostelWorld as this who we booked through. The man was rude and told us to go to the McDonalds to use wifi. Extremely unhelpful

Very nice hostel. But it is expensive and it's hard to take a shower. The shower doesn't work very well.

The hostel hasn't enough room for the hosts they're actually having. The showers hardly have water, one has to wash in the dark; the kitchen is small, and there's only one tiny table inside, so you have to eat in the rain or in the dark. Though the hostel is cleaned every day, things are in a bad shape. but never mind! It'the only hostel in SBA, so they aren't likely to change anything soon. Th more, they offer to pay $5 for a (good) review. Mind that they want $7 extra for credit card paymt.

Was quite far from the main town we were lucky to have a car! Pretty expensive hostel for what you get, the beds were extremely uncomfortable and walls are paper thin so you can hear everything

location is ok about a 20-30 minute walk from the main street. the rooms are over pirced for what you get. environment and atmosphere was good and fun on the 2 nights i was there.
