The staff is very nice and the lounge area is big. The house is little bit old but made me feel home more than any other guesthouse. Every single bed in the house is supplied with heating system to keep you warm in a freezing night. The shoutengai shopping street is 1 min away and the food there is considerably cheap. The Shoutengai also ends with Momodani Station, which is part of Osaka Loop Line that made it easier for me to sightsee Osaka.

I were quite shock when I saw the "single private room" , there is only a "double layer" bed inside, and beside that there is a chair without table, ofcoz no tv. The room, stairs, the corridor all things made people scared, please don't go there if you are travelling alone like me. I am sorry but that is all I really think. Also, if you are carrying heavy lugguage please dont go there too because it is a nightmare to climb up and down the stairs. this is the most worst hostel I've ever been to.

If you want to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city this is the place to stay. It is quiet but still handy to everything and an easy walk to the train station on the Osaka Loop Line. The staff were great and you can arrange to be picked up in the car from the train station when you arrive. There are onsens near the hostel within easy walking distance. My only complaint would be no tourist brochures or pamphlets in English.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, made us feel at home. We had a group of four so we had basically the dorm to ourselves.
