PPL are very nice here. Room is warm and comfortable. There are also many activity with staff here every night. I really enjoy time I was there. I didnt even want leave but I have to. So see u sammy and rain! I love you both! Next time when I come back, we can eat Kungbao Chicken together~!

super hostel and super staff. Located in an old hutong (a courtyard house typical of Beijing) and so is very charming. Not very close to the metro (10 min.) but in Beijing NOTHING is close to the metro. in that cold cold febraury in which i was there, the rooms were incredibly hot, and the hot water for the shower too. The staff is incredible, they help you with any problems, including writing chinese addresses for the taxy drivers and give you basic instructions on how to use badu.com. A+++

I really enjoyed my stay at Inner City. The staff were incredibly nice and hospitable. They were always full of ideas to make my life easier and my sight seeing in Beijing more convenient. I appreciate the homey atmosphere they have created. In addition to the wonderful staff, the location is very good. I don't mind walking, so having to walk a few blocks to the subway does not bother me. The neighborhood is very fascinating to observe while walking.

very nice place to stay, in perfect China style, very gentle the staff and not far from the subway. i love it because everything is very clean and each room is like little house in the house...go there! thank you very much to the staff who support me in my long travel from Italy :)

Small precision, toilets and bathroom are located outside, under the patio. So it is rain proof, but still a bit cold for winter. Othewise very nice people, cheap, warm and good location.

It is a small and cosy hostel and the staff is excellent, very friendly and helpful. Only thing is that the location isn't very good, it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the metro. However there's a lot of nice restaurants in the area :)

Its really nice to stay here. all staffs are very friendly and helpful. The location is just right and just a short walk you can reach MRT station that brings you travel across Beijing with RMB 2 / person. Will be back again and have a nice adventure in Beijing and stay here.

Staff went out of their way to welcome, inform, and make my stay as pleasant as possible... Excellent value hostel.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel in one of the hutong areas. Lively, market just outside the door, friendly and helpful staff and relatively clean. Don't expect any nightlife with (when I was there) mainly Chinese guests. But I would definitely recommend the hostel to friends. The courtyard gives a very tranquil feel to it and is pleasant to just sit and relax.

A bit of a hike from the train station and in a back street. The staff were great help, and the hostel was nice as well.

I enjoyed my stay but the bathroom/toilet didn't have a hook to hang my clothes so I had to put my bags on the floor, causing them to be wet.

Great hostel, for a relaxing stay with great staff in a really nice quiet suburb in Beijing. The hostel organised really good tours I took the trip to The Great Wall and it was really well organised and a great day out. The staff went out of their way to help me in any way they could and on the whole I enjoyed my time there. I met friends who stayed closer to town and if I were going again may look for somewhere closer, but the subway link was good and only about a ten minute walk away.

I stayed in a dorm beside the common area, you'll hear some noise coming from the outside . Location is not as good compared to other hostels in Beijing I;ve been to. It was awesome to know they have beer day but nothing to offer for those who do not drink beer when i asked the staff. Security is great though and staff were helpful.

Amy the Manager will do everything to make your stay pleasant and stress-free. If i hadn't stayed in a lot of hostels in the last ten years of traveling, I would have given Inner City a higher mark. But I think the bar has been raised in Beijing and a number of hostels there have shown what they can offer in terms of space, quality of rooms, facilities, etc.This hostel just have to find out what others have and match them! I did not like the location in particular. dorm room & kitchen was shabby

INNer City is a great spot to get a traditional hutong experience. The location is great for that, but a little ways from the tourist parts of the city. There used to be a covered market right across the street, but it was burning down as we arrived (Sept 2011). Hopefully they'll rebuild it! The hostel is a courtyard surrounded by nice, clean rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have a few computers and free wifi. There is also a small kitchen and toast fir breakfast. Recommended.

As far as Beijing goes, this is an excellent location, it's no more than a half hour or so walk to the White Pagoda and Tian'anmen square. 10mins to the nearest metro. The staff were great and organised things most nights. I made dumplings which I love. There are places to eat nearby. The beds were a little on the hard side, but that was the only real complaint.
