I thought this was a really wonderful traditional chinese courtyard (四合院) to stay in. It was pretty traditional, but with improved bathrooms- perfect.

Very helpful and friendly staff; they would be the reason I'd stay again. Location not ideal, unless you like/don't mind abit of a walk, but I think it's a good experience to be in an actual hutong. Having a key for the front door was handy, as were the facilities to make your own food. I can see the courtyard being a nice place to hang out in the warmer months but no bar or cafe can mean the atmosphere can be abit lacking. Recommend Mutianyu wall tour. Thank god the rooms were always heated!

Welcomed by the team, I've been really satisfied by the experience proposed by InnerCity Hutong. With an interesting price ratio, you'll be welcomed in a nice place, full of character and peaceful. Team is really nice and gives you all info you could need to have a good time in Beijing. The only "bad" point is, during winter, that place is a bit far from metro stop => Walk in low temperatures could be a reason to take a taxi, even for less than 1km, to access to the place.
