Very friendly staff and a cool hostel vibe. Only complaints with this place is that the standard private room was very small an had a door that didn't fill the whole doorway, meaning we could hear everything going on in the common area at all times. Other than this minor annoyance, it was very enjoyable. Also, very easy to find from the subway station.

It was a pleasure to stay at IS@K. It is obvious that a lot of thought and care has gone into designing and maintaining it, and we appreciated that a lot. This was definitely the best place we stayed at throughout our trip. Thanks so much!

Friendly staff, convenient location, clean accomodations

I cannot recommend this hostel enough - the staff were all incredibly friendly, telling us everything we needed for a great stay in Seoul. No question was too small and we felt really welcome. The location is very convenient for bars and restaurants but the staff will also recommend other good places to check out. We stayed in the private twin which was like our own little flat. Would definitely return.

IS@K has a very homey atmosphere and a very welcoming staff. Although there were many rules, there were many resources for us to use such as free breakfast, a computer for us to use, and more. Dukho, the owner of IS@K, is very helpful in letting us know all the great places to visit. He gave us great recommendations for fun night lives and even went out of his way to print out a map of Hongdae's clubs. They also have movie nights where guests are free to watch and hang out with the staff.

Definitey one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. Dukho, the owner, gave us great reccomendations for food, tourist attractions, directions and made sure we got to the aiport safely. We were luck enough to have some drinks with him on the rooftop. This hostel is very charming and the staff is friend/helpful. I'm definitely only staying at this hostel whenever I come to Seoul! A

Friendly staff. Private room was quite small. Common area is also small. Location is a plus with two nearby subway stations and many stores in close proximity.

I think the location is good, traffic is convenient. Also if you are fancy for clubbing and night activities, that should be quite good. But the hostel itself is old, and small. Facilities are OK to use but don't expect a very nice experience. Since the room door has no lock, so its a bit insecure at certain point. However, the hostel keeper is very nice, quite willing to give help. This is the most valuable thing in this hostel.

Disappointed; expected a much better place. directions on the website aren't accurate. actually takes 90 minutes by bus to the hostel, not the less-than-an-hour stated on the website. not easy to find, and in fact I wandered the main street for almost an hour before I found it. It's not in the same building as a restaurant. Bedding was unclean/covered in hairs. Walls paper thin; noisy guests & blaring TV kept me awake til dawn. Mixed gender bathroom not pleasant. Only saving grace was Jacob!

The staff was extremely hospitable and helped with travel advice in Seoul and other parts of South Korea. I would recommend this hostel to anyone. JP

One of the best Hostels I've stayed so far. Everything is perfect and the staff is extremely friendly.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! The location is perfect and the staff is awesome. I unfortunately experienced a personal injury on the streets that weekend, and the owner was so kind to inquire and look after me. I stayed in the annex portion of the private guesthouse, and I would definitely stay again. Stuff like free bottled water and travel-sized toiletries available for use give it a nice extra touch.

The location is pretty good, being just walking distance from Itaewon, subways stops and the airport bus stop :) Also the staff was super nice and helpful!

This was my second stay here, and it was very comfortable and the staff was friendly and accessible.

pretty good hostel well situated! beds are very comfortable and it's quite to sleep late in the morning if wanted! the only black point for me was to have two consecutive days a cold shower! but goods spot to sleep!

The owners were really kind and considerate. The location was excellent (5 minute walk each direction to the subway station). Accommodations were really clean and comfortable. Airport bus stop is right outside the hostel.

The stuff was lovely, very polite and friendly. The place was also very easy to find, especially if you are taking limo bus form the airport. However, it was extremely noisy there at night, the walls are super thin, and if you are staying in a single room, there is a huge gap above and below your door. So if you are lucky to get very noisy neighbors like I did, that stayed up until 4am - NO CHANCE of getting good night sleep. Oh and the shower area was extremely cold! Nice extras like snacks.
