Its not really a hostel, with no common area (there is a small kitchen but nobody really uses), but its quite a nice place and a good valie for money. Clean place, at a good location (just 15-minute walk from Ciudad Vieja, but much safer than there) and very friendly staff. Our shower was broke. On the first night but they fixed it right away.
Close to the old city and city center. Good value for money.
We loved this hotel! If you're looking for a cheap place to stay, but don't like hostel atmospheres then this is great! The rooms are simple, but clean and comfortable. The two ladies who run this hotel are very sweet! We spoke to them in Spanish, but one speaks in fluent english. They gave us lots of recomendations for places to visit and restaurants. No complaints about this hotel at all, it's by no means luxury, but it's a great value for your money and you will have a comfortable stay!
Very clean place, they changed our bedroom towels and linen every day which was a positive surprise for me, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the location could be a little better, despite being close to the old town and the rambla, it's not so much of the malls and other interesting places such as the Centenario stadium, tres cruces bus station, etc. On the other hand taxis in Montevideo are unexpensive, so it's not much of a complaint. Overall very recommended.
