We loved this hotel! If you're looking for a cheap place to stay, but don't like hostel atmospheres then this is great! The rooms are simple, but clean and comfortable. The two ladies who run this hotel are very sweet! We spoke to them in Spanish, but one speaks in fluent english. They gave us lots of recomendations for places to visit and restaurants. No complaints about this hotel at all, it's by no means luxury, but it's a great value for your money and you will have a comfortable stay!
Very clean place, they changed our bedroom towels and linen every day which was a positive surprise for me, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the location could be a little better, despite being close to the old town and the rambla, it's not so much of the malls and other interesting places such as the Centenario stadium, tres cruces bus station, etc. On the other hand taxis in Montevideo are unexpensive, so it's not much of a complaint. Overall very recommended.
The staff was friendly and incredibly accommodating. We were three girls looking for a hotel late at night and though there weren't any rooms with 3 beds available; she showed us to a room with a large bed and had a smaller roll away brought in. We couldn't have asked for anything more after trying two other hostels first with no luck. The next day we were able to transfer to a room with three beds. Both rooms were clean and very esthetically pleasing, and the wifi worked great. Great find!
