Ica Wasi was a great place to stay, the owners (two brothers) are really fun and super willing to show you Ica and the surrounding area!

Really close to Cruz Del Sur bus station, huge plus. 10 min cab ride to Huacachina. Nice people!

The hostel is really clean and everything is new. The brothers who run it can be really helpful, but I also had some communication difficulties with them. Great wifi and a really good shower. Theres no real common area though which makes it harder to interact with other people.

Not much of a hostel more like a motel. No living room or kitchen and not very homey. Very echoey because it's all just tile and you can hear reception watching stuff online at night right outside your room. Staff was super friendly though, but overall huacachina had better vibes than ica.

The two brothers are very friendly and helpful and are located a short walk from all bus terminals. They have incredibly affordable tours to Ballestas Island, Pisco Wineries and Sandboarding. We did all three and felt it was great value for great prices. The rooms were very clean with fresh linen and the bathrooms were cleaned daily (which was quite a job considering the sand we tracked in!) Once the bar & swimming pool are finished it's going to be a hoppin' place! Thanks for a great time!

Im so happy i stayed at this place. Gian carlos came and picked me up from the bus terminal, and then showed me a bunch of things to do on a map, and also to book tours to paracas and huacachina. Theres no computers, but the wifi is great. He also took everyone out at night to show them around town for drinks as such as well which i heard was great as well.

Spontaneous staff, nice young ambitious guys. In need of help they were there.

The place gets really noisy at 7 am when the people that is building the 3rd floor comes and starts to work. It's really expensive for the services they give you (no breakfast, no kitchen, little lockers, packed rooms), you should go directly to Huacachina and sleep there for less money and more fun.

I DO NOT understand how this hostel is rated so highly. It was so bad I don't know where to begin. I guess the first place e to start would be with the terrible staff. They were very rude bad quite creepy. The worst thing they did was both go out drinking with their friends and locked all the guests in the hostel without letting us know. When I called to complain he hung up and the next morning he told me he didn't care. There are no facilities or common areas and it's very far from town.

The place is run by two brothers who are both extremely friendly and helpful. While the location isn't the best (really, no location is Ica can be that good), this hostel is very nice. Updated, clean building with comfortable beds and hot showers. The only complaint is that the walls are thin and you can hear people in the lobby very clearly.

Only a 5 minute walk from the Bus Station - one of the owners will meet you to walk with you back to the Hostel. There are separate Dorm Rooms & Washrooms for Men & Women, Single & Double Rooms, Lockers available and a small common area, Very Clean Hostel with Standard Peru BK included. No Coffeemaker or Kettle to access wud be its only Con. Highly Recommend.

Ica Wasi is a great wee hostel, tucked away from the main hussle and bussle of Ica but not far, from the bus station or the centre of town. The staff are brothers and were great, we had a fantastic explanation of where we were in Ica and where everything we would need was. We were also given a great breakdown of the things it was possible to do in and around Ica as well as help on how to get to Nazca, Huacachina and the local wineries. The room was fantastic and there was a great vibe.

Fun owners, clean room, reasonable rate. It was pretty sparse overall and definitely caters more to the party/super frugal crowd, but we enjoyed our stay.

Make sure you research the location before hand and if possible get in touch with the hotel so they can book you a taxi we drove past about 8 times but as it does not have a "ica Wasi" sign you don't know where it is! Staff very helpful, wifi good connection, no facilities there at all, shower room was clean and tidy... Great for 1 night as a base!

Nice, new, clean hostel in Ica, run by two talkative brothers who are always around and make people socialize, despite only one very little community area. Unfortunately no PCs. It turned out that despite the general checkmark "breakfast included" it is not included for dorm bookings, which can only be found in the small print on hotselworld - for the money they charge, this could be expected.

Ica Wasi is a gem. The place is kept spotless. The rooms are very comfortable and everything is new. It can get chilly at night (just ask for an extra blanket.) WiFi was good with coverage everywhere. Very good breakfast and hot water when you need it (again just ask and they will turn it on.) Giancarlo personally picked us up at the bus stop, gave us great advice about what to do, and made our stay truly memorable. They can also book any tours you are interested in, with pickup right onsite.
