About Pal's Hostel
Pal's hostel - not a regular hostel indeed but a chain of studio apartments in the very center of Budapest around St. Stephen's Basilica. If you favour privacy and want to stay at a place that feels just like home, come to Pal's Hostel and enjoy your own well-equipped apartment in Budapest.
We offer our separate apartments as en-suite rooms and one private room within our office for a lower budget stay.
Enjoying the privacy of your own apartment doesn't mean you have to miss our personal attention, for we operate an office on St. Stephen's Square and our staff will be happy to help you planning your stay, providing information and an individual view on Budapest.
Check-ins take place in our office in Hercegprímás street no 12. 2nd floor, doorbell no 024. Regular office hours are from 10am to 18pm. To guarantee a hassle-free check-in, we will contact you for detailed information on your arrival - such as train or flight details - a few days in advance.
Please note that you can check-in from 14:00 only. If you arrive earlier you can lock up your luggage or wait in our office.
We do arrange airport transfers (for a fee of 20 EUR for 1-4 persons: this means 5 EUR per person, while public transport is about 3 EUR per person). Contact our staff for details.
Please do also note that we cannot accept credit card payments and that any remaining balance has to be paid in cash.
Location
The hostel is in the very downtown, within walking distance of 'the Soho of Budapest', the Opera House, plenty of theatres and music clubs and a wide-ranging choice of restaurants, cafés and pubs.
The traditional sight-seeing spots like Buda Castle or Heroe's Square are also within easy reach and the Danube is only 5 minutes walk away.
It is the ideal base for exploring Budapest's sights and night life, in a beautiful and calm area.
