Location OK 2 mins from subway station. Just stayed overnight in Singapore. Booked room for 2 got room for 6 with 2x3-level bunks with TV and airco and no windows. Staff OK. Have to pay 10 SGD deposit. Noisy as we hear people comming on the hallway during the whole night. Next time I would try another hostel.

Hostel manager was very nice and helpful. I didn't have a working phone and I needed to call somebody in Malaysia and he offered me his personal phone for the call.

The hostel is very accessible, it\'s near the MRT Kallang Station and the bus stop is just in front of the hostel. There are plenty of eateries nearby. The location for me is excellen. Noe V. Behagan, Surigao City, Philippines

We make a double booking. frst from the hostel, while i push payment button its being error so i started to booking from hostelworld. one days later i receive email from the hostel for "my error booking". while i'm there i'm asking the staff for that error and he said that the hostel didn't receive the payment from hostelworld.

The positive things about this hostel are: (1) It is very near Kallang MRT station and restaurants and(2) They gave us a room for six so we were able to choose beds to our liking (we booked a private room for 3 people). The aircon and the TV were also good additions. The things they could improve on are: (1) cleanliness, especially of the bathrooms and(2) guest accommodation because there were lots of confusion (in the end we were not able to receive our deposit).

This hostel located right next to the EW10 Kallang MRT Station and that\'s very convenient for first-comers to Singapore. But the door downstairs won\'t be locked, which means that EVERYBODY can come into the hostel without check-in with the reception. I don\'t recommend female tourists to choose this hostel without the accompany of a guy.

I felt like I was going to be raped in the bathrooms. It wasn\'t that clean and the bathroom doors were not working. I also paid for the single room, they gave me a common room promising that I will be the ony one staying there. My overall impresssion is pretty negative. Good for its price though.

Ideal Hostel Backpackers is a good place for the travellers. It\'s near by the MRT and Bus Station. The price is pretty good and make sense. Thank you.

Very basic hostel, very small room with no window and bathroom facilities were not great and a bit grubby. No bar or eating area, but not bad location close to metro and there was a TV in the room. Part of the problem were the other guests at the time we were there, who were extremely loud and could be heard quite clearly through the walls in the early hours, but not necessarily the hostel\'s fault.

Don\'t expect to be staying anywhere nice if you reserve a spot at the Ideal Backpackers\' Hostel. It\'s got a good location, and there isn\'t much else in Singapore for the low price. However, that\'s about it as far as positive things go. It wasn\'t very clean, the common bathrooms were dirty and very busy all times of the day.

Location is good as it's only a couple of minutes from MRT (Trains) but shared bathroom/toilets are a bit squeezy, the toilets are not much bigger than those on airlines and then they put the shower nozzle in there as well, bit of a contortion act having a shower.I booked a private room, yes, it was a private room, but it had four bunk beds in it.

we only spent one night at Ideal Backpakcers Hostel and it was a really pleasant one! nice staff, good location

Hostel location is good, able to go to many places by either MRT train or bus. Staff is helpful and friendly. Good value for money stay.
