the kitchen gets used a lot - a bigger hob would serve a lot, also make the second kitchen functional 100%. Oh, and a blender would be awesome...

Very good overall experience, great rooms (especially the comfy beds!) with all facilities needed. Cleaned every day and great breakfast with do-it-yourself juice, toast and medialuna. The cleaning ladies, in charge of breakfast and all cleaning were soooo nice and good hearted! Sometimes the bar at the reception were a bit loud after midnight and unfortunately we had some things stolen in the fridge a couple of times. But except for this our stay was great and we had a really good time!

Its a nice place. Very, very close to everything and the staff is amazing, too. Just the front desk guys seem to hate their jobs. But everything else was really good. The hostel is very clean, they have a 24/7 working cleaning staff (or it seems as if they had one!:-) ) and i can surely recomand that place.

The receptionist was very rude. Something went wrong with part of the booking and because of that he sai I had to pay more not the booking online price but the price you pay if you just walk in from the street. The he tried to ripe me of with giving a reallybad exchange rate on the dollar, even if it said on a big sign that the gave you more for it. He didnt show us the facilities, and made us wait for a long while. At breakfast the staff took a croissant that was leftover and put it on my plate

I stayed in the 12 beds room. It was ok for 5€/night. Beds were ok, room clean, The only thing I thought could be working was the lockers in the room to keep my things safe. Everything esle was working and hostal was ok.

The croissants at breakfast were great until they switched them out for mysterious pastries. You have to squeeze your own orange juice in the morning and it's basically straight pulp. Cleaning lady was very rude to us and the guests were ridiculous: knocking on our door at 5 AM, leaving pots with food out for days, staring us down at breakfast, asking for USD in exchange for pesos, etc.. Could have just come at a bad time.

Air conditioning is actually a fan. It says people under 16 aren't allowed, but there was an 8 year old gymnastics team running around screaming at all hours for 3 days. The rooms are the size of a closet. Our "en suite" shower was on top of the toilet. Main guy at front desk is extremely rude, acted like the world was ending when I asked for a blanket. No alcohol from outside is allowed b/c of the bar and eating and drinking in the room isn't either. Close to the subway, but lots of homeless.
