They did not gave us the room we booked. They put us somewehere else without telling us what was happening although their english was good. The room we got was very dirty and noisy. There were big bugs (6cm) in our room that lost some kind of brown liquid. Under the bed were spiderwebs with dead bugs in it. The toilet smelt horrible! They wanted us to pay the same price although the room was completely different to the description on hostelworld.com. Sham! Do not go there!

Big disappointment! Booked a single room with ensuite at Idramon due to the good reviews. The place was hard to find (not a big problem) but nice right in Old Town Chania. BUT then they said my room was in another place! I had to wait half an hour and then got transfered to another hotel in some back alley far away from the center. Suddenly only with shared bathroom, very dirty and noisy and still for the same price! Never again! I'm very disappointedin the hotel and hostelworld to allow such things!

The staff were a husband and wife, and they both did everything they could to make sure you were comfortable. They were ready and willing to deal with all my silly questions and helped me get around the town. The location is perfect, about a one minute walk away from the harbour and a five minute walk from the bus station that will take you to and from the airport. The building appears a bit hidden, so keep your eyes peeled, but it was a perfect intro to Greece.

We were very welcome the whole time we were there by the friendly and helpful staff. Stayed comfortably for the week we were there. Very close to the harbour and the bus station and the market.

The hotel staff was very helpful and the price was very reasonable. Only thing I would suggest is better directions to the hotel from the bus station on the website.

The staff was so friendly and made our one-night stay really nice! They gave us some tips to make the most of our short visit to Chania. They have a cute roof terrace overlooking the square of the orthodox church, and it's the perfect place to have a drink and a quiet chat at night. Idramon is also close to the harbour and the clubs area, but far enough to be a really quiet place -and for having a good night's sleep after partying all night long!

Idramon was an excellent location in the old area of Chania, we felt very welcomed and comfortable. Every aspect of the accommodation was excellent, including a rooftop area where we could sit and have food and beverages overlooking the church square, even in Winter.
