located very close to BSI bus terminal, so when arriving by bus from airport late at night.

Excellent hostel to stay in! Staff were nice and helpful. Facilities were clean and tidy. Apperently Igdlo is undergoing a renovation and it is on its last stages (trim molding etc. missing, small details.) Location was good, however guesthouse was little hard to find at first... All-in-all, if I´m going to Reykjavik ever again, I WILL stay in Igdlo. (If there´s any vacancy of course :))

Igdlo guesthouse was a pretty basic set-up, but was enhanced by extremely helpful and friendly staff as well as being impeccably clean. It feels like a new enterprise so will probably only improve. The facilities were adequate and it's a shortish walk to the centre of town. It's a really good location for the BSI bus terminal, from where you can pick up buses for day trips and other locations in Iceland very easily. I would recommend this guesthouse as a budget, convenient place to stay.

I stayed here in a single room on a 17 hour layover and was very happy. Clean room, comfy bed, and excellent service. The owner stayed up for me (I got in at 1:30am) and was back at 8am to help me make reservations at the Blue Lagoon. I was really happy and highly recommend this place.

My stay in Igldo Guesthouse was really great, I highly appreciate the attention of Frederik! The location is perfect to travel by bus (10 minutes on foot to BSI), it is very clean, and there are small things that cost not too much but change the mood completely - blossoming flowers in the kitchen on every table, trust in payments ()it was ok to leave money under the door), very friendly atmosphere, thank you, Frederik!

The double room we booked turned out to be two twin beds pushed together on arrival. Staff were friendly and helpful, apologising for this on arrival. We were told the hostel was fully booked but actually saw a vacant double room opposite ours that seemed empty for much of our first day. The room was exceedingly hot, even without heating on and the window open. Although we had a sink in our room, there was only one shower for the whole hostel to share as the only other one was out of action.

We had a great stay at Igdlo Guesthouse. This is a well run hostel and Fridrik is very helpful. It is very clean and has good facilities. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Reykjavik.

Hostel was in a great location, 5 mins walk from BSI terminal and only 10 minutes into the centre. Difficult to judge hostel's appearance as it was being redecorated at the time so we didn't have access to our TV (doubt we would of used it anyway) and some bathrooms but it looks like it will be great once it is finished. Staff were very helpful and friendly and it had a nice homely feel. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone going to Reykjavik.

Such a fantastic place to stay! Very comfortable rooms and excellent kitchen facilities. Ingi was incredibly helpful and very accommodating. I would recommend this hostel (it's more than a hostel) to everyone and very much hope to stay there when we return to Reykjavik.

Our stay at the hostel was great! The staff is very friendly, all the rooms are very clean and the wifi is great. The staff is more than willing to tell you about the things to do in Reykjavik and in the rest of Iceland. We came back to the hostel after a three day road trip, because we realy enjoyed our stay. If I had to name something, I would say the pillows are slightly too soft (but you can ask for another one), and it's situated a little out of the city centre.

This is a very nice hotel, hostel. Very close to the bus station and Reykjavik domestic airport. When I arrived the man who showed me round was so, so helpful and made me feel very welcome. The facility's are good, a kitchen that is very clean and has a good mix of teas and there's a coffee machine for fresh coffee and all free...brill.

The guesthouse was very empty at the time of our visit. The only time we saw the staff was when leaving, we called them asking how to pay for our stay. The staff was always available by phone. During our entire stay, nobody came to clean, not even the bathrooms. The hostel offers free coffee and tea, and free laundry, which was very handy.

Had a great time: really helpful, friendly staff. We stayed in what seemed like the quiet season so the place wasn't exactly buzzing but the location and everything else was perfect.
