The Igloo Backpackers Hostel and our Boutique Hostel Igloo Annexe (Best New Venture Runner-Up Nottingham Stars Awards) offer a clean, warm and sociable stay in comfy beds under the roof of a welcoming, environmentally friendly award winning hostel. Helpful, knowledgeable staff and a great atmosphere. Facilities include a large self-catering kitchen, lockers in rooms, free WiFi and internet, TV lounge, games room and laundry facilities.
Boutique Annexe rooms offer newly decorated high quality private rooms sleeping 1-6 people with memory foam mattresses, Freeview TV, free WiFi, desk and sofa. fully-equipped kitchen and squeaky clean bathrooms.
Prices from £16 dorms. £32 - £44 singles/doubles/twins & triples and family rooms from £60.

We are centrally located 8-10 minutes walk from the town square.

Set up in 1994, the city center's hostel is still run by helpful and experienced backpackers and over the years we have welcomed close to 60.000 people from all over the world.
Located in an historic Victorian building, we are surrounded by shops, pubs, eat-ins and take-outs, sights and sounds plus food shopping including a 24 hour supermarket, Victoria market and Tesco within 1-5 min walk.

If you are on the tourism trail for a few days and nights, we have free maps so you can find your way around, as well as leaflets with information on all the sights. - We will also point you in the direction of a good pint and excellent grub.

If you are looking for a place to spend the Summer and get some cash together for some more travelling, we are always happy to help with information and guidance on finding work of which there is plenty up for grabs in Nottingham.

The city also offers lots of great live music, cultural events and of course Mr. Robin Hood (!!!)

Open all day all year until 3 a.m., the Igloo offers no chores or heavy rules - just a chance to meet some friendly people and get a good night's sleep at the end of an active day.

Please note: Check-in is anytime from 10.00 - 01.00.
Rooms are ready from 3 p.m. but you are welcome to use our facilities until then.
If you are arriving late evening or after midnight, please do let us know.
