Very good hostel for the price. It was a relatively clean and secure hostel with a comfortable enough bed for the night and available lockers. The hostel looked to be in a rather shady part of town, so the walk at night wasn't great, but it was a nice place to spend a night.

Very friendly staff. wonderful location. 5 stars rooms in the Annexe (where we actually slept - 2bed twin room)! We also aprreciate the self-catering kitchen accessible 24h/day. Nice atmosphere and nice guests from all over the world! Definitely one of the best hostel we've stayed in!!! Highly recommended!!!!!

Clean and secure and in a great spot- only a few minutes walk to everything we wanted to do. The free tea and coffee is pretty great too :)

I would definitely go back, and probably will at some point. It's in a good location, a straight shot from the theatre and shopping centers, easy to find. Very reasonably priced for the budget-conscious. I was only there for one night, but I enjoyed my stay.

I stayed at the Igoo for only a few days. The whole time I was there was exceedingly positive for me. The hostel is very nice and the staff were great.

I have stayed here before and would definately recommend the private rooms. The only issue I had was that the rooms at the front (where I stayed) didn't have double glazing so it was a bit noisy. This didn't bother me but may be an issue for older guests.

Very good position near downtown and very funny staff. I'm thinking about going back to Nottingham in a future and in this hostel again.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights as we needed somewhere cheap and convenient to Nottingham. Igloo was great - we stayed in the annexe, and while the words "you're above the Londis" filled us with fear it was clean, tidy, quiet and comfortable (except the pillows!). The only negative comment is that some maintenance is needed - both shower doors had come off their rails in the bathroom and the toilet seat was loose.

It was a lovely placwe to stay an the staff were very friendly. Our room though was bitterly cold and I don't think there was any heating. Also it was a bit inconvenient that reception only opened at 9, especially if you have a train to catch before then and you need to drop off your key and collect your deposit. In other backpacker hostels I have stayed in this was not the case.

I liked my stay very much. The hostel was simple, as I was staying the dorm room, but fulfilling my expectations and value for the money. I especially appreciated the locker and generally the concern that staff expressed for the safety and security of their visitors. I would have liked a breakfast option - but maybe I just didn't go down into the kitchen in the right time :)
