This is a pretty good hostel However they are more focused towards there long term guests ie front door keys only for long term guests which is a probem as reception opens at nine and freezer space long term guests only, these are more comments than compaints

Aside from being rather far from the station and hidden away, we really enjoyed our stay at this hostel. It was clean and private and very quaint. It felt like a home more than a hostel. The kitchen was well equipped and we felt comfortable cooking food there.

Perfect location near Victoria Square and excellent single room with fast wifi. I really enjoyed my stay there. For sure I will go to Igloo again for my next visit to Nottingham.

we stayed there for only one night and we felt very welcomed. we arrived at 1am and the receptionist was waiting for us and was very lovely and answered all our questions. we stayed in a 6 females dorm which was a bit dense, not much space to move, but since we only stayed for one night we didn't really care...it would have been perfect if they had breakfast included, but all in all it was really nice.

Excellent for the price. Handy to get in and out of town. Our double room in the annexe was lovely and airy, with lots of space and everything we needed. The bathrooms were great and the kitchen really good. Only thing we weren\'t so happy with was that the room was too hot with the heating off at the radiator but there is always a window! Would visit again if I was down in Nottingham again.

The hostel is in a very good location: near the city center but the room was very freezing (tha name of the hostel would have told us!) and there was no adaptor avaliable.

Owner Comment (Show)
We aim to be a warm place in a sometimes cold world but it appears we don't always get the heat output right during the colder months! We will be monitoring this more closely as of course we want our guests to feel warm and toasty! Thank you for your feedback :)

I had a very positive experience; the only thing is the room was freezing. A sign said to call reception if the temperature wasn't working, but neither my companion nor I had an international plan for calling. Otherwise, it probably would have been fixed and we'd been fine.

Very good hostel for the price. It was a relatively clean and secure hostel with a comfortable enough bed for the night and available lockers. The hostel looked to be in a rather shady part of town, so the walk at night wasn't great, but it was a nice place to spend a night.

Very friendly staff. wonderful location. 5 stars rooms in the Annexe (where we actually slept - 2bed twin room)! We also aprreciate the self-catering kitchen accessible 24h/day. Nice atmosphere and nice guests from all over the world! Definitely one of the best hostel we've stayed in!!! Highly recommended!!!!!

Clean and secure and in a great spot- only a few minutes walk to everything we wanted to do. The free tea and coffee is pretty great too :)

Really helpful staff. Location is a little bit hard to find but not too bad. If you dont have any idea about this city, stay in this hostel. It will b great. + the reception is open from 9am to 3am.

I would definitely go back, and probably will at some point. It's in a good location, a straight shot from the theatre and shopping centers, easy to find. Very reasonably priced for the budget-conscious. I was only there for one night, but I enjoyed my stay.

I stayed at the Igoo for only a few days. The whole time I was there was exceedingly positive for me. The hostel is very nice and the staff were great.

I have stayed here before and would definately recommend the private rooms. The only issue I had was that the rooms at the front (where I stayed) didn't have double glazing so it was a bit noisy. This didn't bother me but may be an issue for older guests.

Very good position near downtown and very funny staff. I'm thinking about going back to Nottingham in a future and in this hostel again.
