We had a reservation!!! They still have my money 17 usd, we arrived and there were nobody even in the reception! we have to look for another hostal.

great place, really warm and helpful staff. the location is great if youre in la barra, price is right. only stayed one night but hostess went well out of her way to make us feel good about everything.

This hostel is amazing! It is really comfortable, clean and safe! You can have party every day! The kitchen and the rooms and really comfortable.. We are going again next summer, for sure! " CHela" the owner is a very good person and makes you feel as if you were at home! Thank youuuu

It has a very familiar environment, which is why you can't help to feel like home. The manager "Rodrigo" es extremely kind and he's always willing to help. It's location is perfect because it's a block away from ruta 10, where everything happenas but you still have a silent place to sleep. I loved it.

Iguana de la Barra is a nice hostel if you are into the party scene. It has a cool bar that serves the cheapest alcohol in town and is generally a place to get the party started. Unfortunately this makes it so that it is only quiet enough to sleep between the hours of 8am and noon when people have come back from clubs. The downstairs bedrooms are next to the social area so if people are hanging out it is impossible to sleep. If you are in La Barra to party, La Iguana is an excellent option.

Great place and staff here. Location is perfect to La Barra and the bus stop is right by the hostel to get to Punta Del Este and Bikini Beach. Can't wait to go back next year!

je voulais vous signaler que je n'ai pas pu passer de séjours a iguana de la barra etant donné que quand je suis arrivée , il n'y avait personne à l'accueil , la maison etait fermée, et personne ne répondait au numéro indiqué . j'ai donc versé un acompte de 10% la veille au soir pour rien . je souhaiterai donc que vous me remboursiez la somme qui a été attribuée a je ne sais qui et qui se trouve je ne sais ou . La propriétaire d'iguana de la barra s'est déresponsabilisé de l'incident.
