I staied two nights at Iguanas and it was great. They offered all I needed for a fair price. The dormitory for 6 people is extremly small but since I just needed it to sleep that did not really matter. AC all night! There are lockers, you have to bring your own lock though. Great kitchen! The stuff is really nice and helpful and evertime there is someone around to hang out with or to get some information. Since the hostal is very very small its easy to get in touch with other travelers.

One of the cheaper hostels in Cartagena, but a good value for your money. The dorms were simple, but comfortable. The kitchen was not the best, but passable. Great location, staff was really nice and helpful. Met some cool people here also.
It was our pleasure to have you as a guest, have a good trip.

This hostel is in a good location. The room was okay but smelt like moth balls. The air conditioning can only be turned on between 7pm-11am which is hideous during the day. When we first arrived we had no idea about what to do in the town and wanted to know about tours - the girl on reception knew nothing and there was no pamphlets or information anywhere. In the morning we asked again and the man spoke no English - we ended up booking tours at a hostel down the road. Common area is not great.
