Property Information:
Il Carmine is located on the top of Mount Erice, and it is an oasis of peace completely compatible with the history and the characteristics of the medieval town of Erice. It was a Monastery of Carmelitani friars but now thanks to a reconversion work our guests can stay in very comfortable rooms.
All our rooms are equipped with the following comforts:
- Italian breakfast (8-10 am);
- heating system;
- air conditioning;
- private bathroom (bidet, shower box);
- towels and bed linen;
- satellite TV;
- hair dryer;
- desk;
- balcony (only in some of the rooms);
- tidy up and daily cleaning;
- change of towels and bed linen every three days;
- independent access h24.

- local transport bus stop 800 mt;
- Trapani 10 minutes with the cableway;
- Segesta 40 minutes by car;
- San Vito Lo Capo 50 minutes by car.

Il Carmine was a great hotel - the staff was friendly and helpful & the room was way more modern than I anticipated. The breakfast was really good and the location was good. The only trick was getting to Erice. The cable car was down so I planned to take a bus but they stopped running in the late afternoon so I had to take a taxi. Additionally, the bus to get down from Erice to Trapani only ran at 9:30 and 1:30 (maybe 1 other later in the day) so I had to cut my visit short. Plan ahead!
