This 200-year-old farmhouse located south of Siena is rustic and charming. It is located near the small village of Torri which has a beautiful cloister, open on Monday and Friday. Rosia, a nearby town has a supermarket and some restaurants and ATMs. The owner Barbara Viale is very helpful and accommodating and knowledgeable and speaks English quite well. We will recommend the hostel to our friends.

The view of the countryside around is magnificent, this is a splendid place to relax and enjoy Tuscany beauty. The continental style breakfast is not very abundant but nice enough.
Barbara was very helpful and friendly, and her dog Scooby was lovely and HUGE! The cats were fun, and it was our first good night's sleep in Italy since our arrival. Our only regret was that our stay was not longer... Recommended!
I cannot say so much since I discovered the day of the arrival that my reservation was cancelled. The personnel of the B&B did not care to call me before and I avoided more problems just because I called before leaving. After all, I can say I am very disappointed with them. I had never problems with reservations made with this site but if you want to go to Il Colombaio, you'd better go there personally to make your reservation!
