Great little place if you are keen at staying in Corniglia. Stefano is a great host and very considerate. Definitely a great place to stay.

Stefano - what a great person. Loved the genuine way he engaged with us and that he gave us lots of helpful info about the towm and the area. Coniglia is the best town in the Cinque Terre to stay in - its the least touristy and most friendly. The B and B was great, atmospheric and spacious. The kitchen was a little tired, thats all. Great place to stay, thank you.

It was exactly what my friend and I were looking for - a nice and clean place to rest our tired feet after all of the walking!

Beautiful hostel--very small, but well-decorated, well-located, and a great value. We booked a private double, but upon arrival, were told that since there was an extra room, we had a whole wing of the hostel to ourselves -- private bathroom, private kitchen, private hallway. Stefan was very friendly, trusting, and helpful. Further, Corniglia is located in the middle of the 5 towns, so makes visiting the others very easy.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Il Girasole and would stay there again/recommend Il Girasole to friends. Our room was exactly as described/seen in the pictures. It was very clean and looked recently remodeled. Stefano and Libia were helpful via e-mail before our arrival and very pleasant in person (and spoke English well). The room we stayed in was at the top of a very narrow staircase. This wasn't a problem for us with our backpacks, but could be tricky for people with really big bags.

If you are looking to stay at a place that gives both a bed and breakfast, you will get a wonderful bed, however we did not receive breakfast. the location is great, you have to climb a few stairs but that will be true for any place that you stay in while visiting cinque terre. The man who owns it is super helpful and really nice and the room is beautiful and very clean. I had a great time while staying there and if you do, ask Stefano (the man who owns the rooms) about hikes to go on there
