Loved the atmosphere, loved the place. I had a great time with the other guests and even with the two ladies that run the place. I would definitely go back, a true backpacker's dream!

I highly recommend this place for the solo travelers and also for groups. It is very cozy and warm, the location is great, very close to the center, the kitchen is fully equipped and the staff is very friendly when they're there. This place feels like home from the minute you walk in. Good job!

Its not really like staying at a hostel, more like coming home to someone. Really nice and friendly.

The atmosphere is really fantastic! I usually treat hostels just as a place where I can take shower and sleep, but this one was somehow exceptionally inviting :). I've met a bunch of really lovely people there. Best wishes if you read it, guys ;).

A great hostel. Great location and facilities. But, it has staff availability problems. It is often very hard to find a staff member and people would show up and have to rely on other guests to let them in.

Maybe the price is too high regarding the given service.

The place was nice enough. The staff however was nonexistent. Disappointed because I'd heard such good things about this hostel but it didn't deliver. Was given a good map and good a few good recommendations at check in but was thinking it was going to be different. My mistake.

Just Excellent! - One of the hostels I've ever stayed in. The staff is very friendly and recommended me the best places in the city to visit, eat and party. The atmosphere is quite original and you get to know your roommates easily. Safe, good located and worth the money you pay for it. Definitely recommended!

When I first booked this hostel online I thought it was very expensive for a dorm room and I wasn't happy! But as soon as I arrived it was completely worth the money! The staff member who checked me in was really nice and recommended the best gelato places to go! There is plenty of choice for breakfast and the beds are super comfy! There are only 9 beds in total so it's quiet. Also, the location is PERFECT so easy to get into the centre (5 mins walk) and easy to find when you get off the bus!

There was an odd mix of really long term residents and people only there for a weekend, but the group of travellers we ran into at Il Nostalillo over this easter weekend was fabulous! 10 of us ended up going out to dinner one night. The common area is set up really well with a really good kitchen and great (free!!) breakfast provided. We were not able to meet Olga when we arrived as our train was late, so ended up being let in by a fellow guest, this warm atmosphere and friendliness was great!

I liked this Hostel very much. It's a very nice place, it's clean, internet is working, there is a kitchen were you can cook, breakfast was typically italian(only Sweet stuff), but they had also some Müsli which was very nice. The staff is very nice, they help you whenever you Need them. Location is great in 5min you are in the City Center. Price is Good when you compare it to the Hostel San Sisto(where i stayed the week before and which was really horrible). But prices are higher during Congress

The most pricey dorm room I've had, but was in the end upgraded to a single room to myself. Pointed out that the toilet was blocked when I arrived but it hadn't been fixed by the time I left 2 days later, which smelt a bit. Otherwise a very nice and clean hostel, felt very homely at times

It was a unique experience. The hostel, was basically an old flat, very centrally located in the city, with two rooms, (each with 4-5 beds), two bathrooms, and a living room and kitchen. Everything is so nice and excellent there, that I can hardly find something negative about it. There is cleaning everyday at around noon time, and so the hostel can be considered as very clean.

If you like adventure, this can be a place. If you like a place to have a good rest and clean, this might not be it. On the days I stayed, I stayed in one of the bedrooms with 4 other people: 1. One guy snored so loud, nobody could sleep. 2. The bathroom was muddy. I was afraid to touch anything. 3. Breakfast was old. 4. Dishes, cups......I had to use boil water to rinse. 5. Did not see any attendant during my 5 days stay. I guess the place is running on auto pilot. Maybe it was my bad luck.

The hostel is nicely located. 15-20 minutes to the main train station and 10 minutes to the centre. The hostel managers - Olga and Katerina are really warm people. The atmosphere is terrific and a great place to make friends. The breakfast is just ok but then it's what you've paid for .

Wondeful little place within 5-10 minutes walking distance of Bologna centre. Five minutes walking also to Via del Pratello which is full of homely, good value excellent restaurants and bars. Lots of character and very helpful, welcoming staff. I would highly recommend. Il Nosadillo is also a better option than the official 'ostello de la gioventu'.
