I stayed there for a couple of nights. I felt like at home. The common area is convenient and warm. 20 min walk from train station. The owner is very friendly. Just be aware the check in is 2pm or see wirh her before you walk in.
This felt like being in a very secure apartment with a lot of beds. By that I mean I felt very comfortable and at home there and it was easy to socialize with the other people. Sitting around the kitchen table eating the 24-hour breakfast and drinking a bottle of wine was great! Very close to the center and the woman who owns it is a sweetheart and knows great places to eat!
I was charged 1 euro a day or city tax, even though the rate I paid on line is 'taxes included'. The lady at reception told me that they will update the rate later on, but I have to pay the city tax, seems like I had no choice. the PC in the living room doesn't work, you lose internet access if you don't bring device your own with you
Great hostel! The staff it's super cool, the breakfast it's available all day long! Nice location!
Pleasure to stay in Il Nosadillo! So clean and loved that we could have breakfast whenever. Only issue was with the wifi but pretty minor. The beds were the comfiest yet and we've been backpacking since October! Loved the suggestion of where to have tortellini as that was a definite highlight of our day in Bologna. Thank you!
The location is pretty cool, no more than 8min walking from the main square, the hostel itself is pretty nice, like a department and makes u feel comfortable and like home, a bit expensive tho...
This is a great cute little hostel. It is very small and the room can be very cramped, but it was a welcome reprieve after staying at some very large hostels, this one felt very much like home. Would definitely recommend, the only problem is that it is a little pricey for a hostel, but I think it was worth it.
The check in time can be a little tricky so make sure to tell her via email in advance other than that this hostel was a dream!
A really nice hostel that is a little more expensive than most but it is good value for money. The kitchen is excellent, well stocked with equipment and basic food. The breakfast food is available all day which is awesome. No complaints, I would recommend it .
I had a good time at il nosadillo- it's easy to get to from the train station, and everywhere in the city is within walking distance. The little common area and kitchen made it feel very homey, and made it easy for everyone to meet and hang out.
I found the atmosphere in the hostel friendly and relaxed. Tea and coffee available all day. Beds comfortable and locker by bed had its own lock and key. The hot water upstairs was alittle hit and miss, but was assured that this is soon to be replaced with a new boiler, thank goodness for the showers downstairs. Shops right next door and round the corner for easy food shopping and the local Piazza was only a ten minute walk away.
Awesome time was had here, recommend this place to anyone going to Bologna. On arrival the owner sat me down with a map recommending places to visit, eat and drink etc. Facilities are kept very clean, beds are comfy and lockers in room provide good security for valuables. Kitchen facilities with breakfast is good providing all the basics, the little lounge provides a good area to chill and meet others.
Staff is the best value of the hostel: they give very nice tips to enjoy bolognese atmosphere. Cleanliness is the worst: common spaces and garbage were not cleaned every day.
Pleasant stay in the heart of bologna, supermarket nearby and nice communal kitchen! Easy to meet people Breakfast provided and sits out all day for when yoy get the munchies! Overall a good place for a few nights!
There are 2 dorms.. 5 and 7 beds. The hostel is part of a condominium and has a shared entrance. Each guest receives a copy of the keys. For the downstairs dorm, there's no key for the room and anyone accessing the condominium has immediately access to it. Only protection is the front dorm. On the other hand, the locker is huge and you can lock all your stuffs inside. Staff is absolutely amazing.

Friendly staff, good communication, helpful approach.
This hostel is good, and his camera of 7 is very comfortable. The only think I don't like is that the reception is only open to 2 at 8 pm. If you want to arrive earlier it's very difficult to do the chekin. And its also difficult to do the chekin in this timetable because the person of reception do other things and if you sing the ring nobody answer you..But for the rest I was really good there.
Annoying check in times, when I arrived at 11.30am I had to wait two and a half hours for someone to arrive and check me in. Fortunately another guest let me in as I would have had to wait in the street. Beds and rooms were nice and breakfast foods available all the time to take if you like. Wifi worked well, didn't manage to have a hot shower but I asked around and I think that depended on which shower you went to. Very quiet and relaxed atmosphere
Amazing hostel. The owner is a wonderful Italian woman with a lot of spunk who will recommend great restaurants, gelato places and churches to see. The atmosphere is great for meeting fellow travelers with one large bedroom downstairs and smaller rooms upstairs with one main kitchen. Breakfast is included and people come and go as they please. Very safe and comfortable environment. Lockers in the rooms.
Very close to the center, the staff is very friendly and gave me good tips on what to do and where to eat. Good value for money.
